99 line

Ateez were extremely protective of each other, that was no secret. But there was a difference between them when it came to being protective.

Jongho was most likely to just glare at whoever crossed his hyungs and that was enough to scare almost anyone.

Seongwha and Hongjoong would have fought for their dongsaengs and literally gotten into a fight, except they knew how to control themselves and not make their team or company look bad. Though once in a while, that self control seemed to take off.

And then there was the 99 line. They were a group of pure strength, idiocy, and sass. There really was no other way to describe them. Yeosang and Wooyoung were the sass, they had the quickest remarks and comebacks in the entire group. Yeosang was also the strength but he would never use that against anyone, which left San as the next strongest. His large build scared anyone who got too close and he was surprisingly the most likely to throw the first punch when it came to his same aged friends. Yunho and Mingi were the intimidation. They were the tallest and no one wanted to cross them.

Now anyone who dared to hurt one of these five guys found themselves in for quite a ride. Going after all five of them, well good luck.

"What's going on here?" San noticed that something was not right. Ateez had been invited to a party and it was going fine. But there were some trainees that were not exactly the most respectful and they were causing trouble with Wooyoung and Yeosang.

"Nothing, just a brat" Wooyoung looked right at the trainee when he answered, a small smirk gracing his features. San put an arm around him, one hand sliding onto Yeosang's waist and staying there. He made it obvious enough that the trainee noticed and backed off. San scared him.

"Kids" Wooyoung scoffed and took a sip of his drink. Yeosang turned absolutely red as soon as the kid was gone.

"San, your acting like we're your boyfriends again" He pointed out. Wooyoung choked on his drink.

"Sorry. I just don't like seeing brats talk to you badly" San apologized, smiling. Yeosang didn't actually mind, he knew why San did it but they had a reputation to maintain.

"Whatever. Let's go find the others" Yeosang got up, leading the younger two around the room to find Yunho and Mingi. This was where things started to go wrong. Yunho and Mingi were trying to just have a normal conversation but surprise, surprise, the same trainee that had been bothering Yeosang and Wooyoung had gathered his buddies and was going after the other two. The only problem was his buddies weren't trainees like him, they were background dancers and they were much taller, bigger and older than Ateez.

"Can you please leave us alone?" Yunho rolled his eyes, giving the older guys a dark look. San, Wooyoung and Yeosang couldn't hear what was said in return but it was clear the background dancers weren't leaving so they pushed their way through the crowd.

"Hey, he said leave them alone" San intervened. Yeosang glared at the guys, cracking his knuckles. He knew where this was going to end and he was prepared. Wooyoung had this crazy look in his eyes, he was prepared also. Mingi looked torn between staying to help and going to find their hyungs so things don't go too far. In the end, he stayed where he was.

"Back off, kid! This isn't your business" One of them pushed San.

"It kind of is, your messing with my brothers" San pushed him back. The guy scoffed, thinking of his next move. He knew who he was up against and he didn't want to lose his job but he also knew that however this went, it was the opposite party that was going to pay a larger price.

San, Yeosang, Wooyoung, Yunho and Mingi knew it too but they didn't back down.

"You think your tough just because your in some big group and we're not?" The one, who was obviously the leader, pushed San a little. Not enough to do anything but hard enough that San had to take a few steps back.
