Dark thoughts were a part of life. That's just the way it was. At least once in someone's life, they were going to have what would be considered a dark thought. Whether its because they think their not good at something or maybe they look a little too different from their family causing them to think they were adopted and didn't fit in the family or maybe it was even deeper than that.

Wooyoung was no stranger to these dark thoughts. He had them when he was a kid and he had them even now. He learned to differentiate between the ones that were putting him down and the ones that he could do something about. It was part of the reason that he improved quickly in anything he tried to do. This method usually worked except now. At that moment, it didn't seem like anything was going to work.

"Their not mad at you" Yunho sat down, making himself comfortable on the floor in front of Wooyoung.

"That's debatable" Wooyoung scoffed. Yunho shook his head. The others were slowly piling in and taking a seat around their distraught friend.

"No, it's not. Their not mad at you. No one's mad at you, Wooyoung" Yunho repeated. Wooyoung didn't know if he believed that or not.

"I would be. I'm a complete failure" Wooyoung muttered, burying his head in his arms. His words were slightly muffled by that but they were still able to be heard. Yeosang frowned, flicking the side of Wooyoung's leg.

"Hey!" Wooyoung lifted his head, glaring at his long time best friend.

"Your not a failure" Yeosang corrected Wooyoung. He wasn't usually one for serious conversations, often making lighthearted jokes to ease the tension but now, Wooyoung could tell Yeosang was being serious.

"I am too. I got caught drinking! By the company" Wooyoung reminded the others. He didn't know how they couldn't see him as a failure. He was always getting in trouble.

"Okay? Did you think San was a failure when he was caught smoking? Or Mingi when he flipped off the staff members? How about when I accompanied you to another country without our hyungs or managers knowing! Did you think I was a failure?" Yeosang wondered.

"That's different. You guys don't get in trouble all the time" Wooyoung argued.

"That's not true. Heck, I think the longest I've ever gone without getting in trouble was a month and that was only because I hid what I was doing. And guess what, I got in even more trouble for everything because I hid it" Jongho admitted. The others remembered that. They all swore that they had never seen Hongjong and Seongwha that mad before.

"Really?" Wooyoung sniffled a little, looking at his friends.

"Yeah. We all do shit all the time" Yunho nodded, the others agreed in an instant. Wooyooung had to admit, he was starting to feel a little better. He didn't know why but having his friends around him always helped.

"Don't let hyungs hear you or they'll wash your mouth out" Wooyoung giggled. Yunho dug his fingers into the younger's side, tickling him.

"Brat" Yunho muttered, fondly as Wooyoung doubled over in laughter. The others watched, amazed at how quickly Wooyoung could cheer up. After a moment, the two stopped messing around, bringing their other brothers into a hug as well.

"Now come on. Let's go find the oldest so we can give them a hard time" San led the way out the door, the others following quickly. Wooyoung apologized numerous times, stopping only when Hongjoong threatened to 'give him something to really apologize for if he didn't stop spewing out a bunch of sorries'. Wooyoung still thought sometimes about the unnatural amount of times he got in trouble but the fact that he went even longer than ever before after that day helped tremendously. A whole month went by without trouble, breaking his world record.
