Hongjoong sneaks out with the 99z

Hongjoong normally said no to these things but this was one time that he was fully convinced. He went along with it, thinking:

'what was the worst that could happen?' Well, turns out the worst that could happen was this: sitting in a jail cell. He had already placed a call to Seongwha. He had considered having Yeosang do it instead, knowing that the fake maknae and prince of the group would be less likely to invoke their eldest member's wrath but in the end, Hongjoong decided to do the mature, responsible thing as the captain and oldest present and made the call himself. 

By the time he hung up with Seongwha, he wished that he had Yeosang do it instead. Seongwha did not raise his voice, he wasn't really one to do that but the oldest had a certain way of talking that made even a grown man such as Hongjoong feel like he was five years old all over again. 

"Where are they?" Seongwha walked in, pulling Jongho along behind him. Hongjoong had almost completely forgotten about the maknae. Seongwha signed the appropriate papers, ensuring that this would not become public knowledge and waited for his members to be released. As soon as they were all in front of him, he started talking. Hongjoong felt a surge of appreciation when the officer that had arrested them decided to step into the back office, giving the group some privacy.

"I will not scold you here. You all know what you did was wrong so I don't think I have to tell you why it was. I am disappointed and surprised at all of you. I expected better from you, some more than others" Seongwha added, looking at Hongjoong. The captain could feel his only older brother's eyes on him. Hongjoong's eyes burned with shameful tears that he tried to not let fall. 

"We convinced him, hyung! He tried to stop us" Wooyoung insisted, defending his captain. Seongwha held up a hand to stop any more explanation.

"I don't want to hear it. We're going to go home, I don't want to hear a single word out of any of you. It is late so we will be dealing with this tomorrow. As soon as we get home, I want all of you in bed. No exceptions. Is that clear?" Seongwha explained. San, Wooyoung, Mingi, Yunho and Yeosang all agreed, though they didn't want to. Hongjoong kept his head down, avoiding looking at his same aged friend.

"Hongjoong. I said, is that clear? Do not make me repeat myself a third time" Seongwha warned.

"Perfectly clear" Hongjoong nodded, his voice low and soft. Seongwha heard him still and was pleased with the answer.

"Then let's go. Remember, not a single word" Seongwha repeated, leading the way out. It was quiet as they walked to the van and it was even more quiet on the way to the dorms. Seongwha was the last one inside, along with Jongho. Before he had even finished getting his shoes off, the small hallway was empty. He had never seen any of the members move so fast before. 

"Go on Jongho. Keep an eye on your hyungs for me?" Seongwha sent the youngest off to his room with Wooyoung and Yeosang. Jongho nodded, going to his room for the second time that night. Once Seongwha finished getting ready, he made his rounds to check on the members. Hongjoong was still in the bathroom so Seongwha knew he didn't have to worry about the captain.

"Put your phones up please. We need to talk" Seongwha sat down on Yunho's bed, looking at him and San.

"We're really sorry hyung" Yunho admitted. Seongwha smoothed a piece of hair out of his dongsaeng's eyes.

"I know you are. I'm sure I already know the answer but you want to tell me anyways, and be honest: who's idea was this?" Seongwha had a pretty good feeling about the answer but he didn't want to jump to conclusions.

"It was mine actually hyung" San piped up, averting his eyes when Seongwha turned to him. 

"Yours?" To say Seongwha was surprised was an understatement. He had not expected San, one of the most well behaved of his members, to be the mastermind behind this idea.
