Just to clarify, the first part of the chapter is going to be from Ghost's perspective. In general, whenever there is a *** it is a change of perspectives (although it still stays in the third person). You can understand whether it's (usually) Elena's or Gaz's by whose feelings/thoughts on the matter we get. Honestly, why am I explaining lol. You all understand hehe. Enjoy the chapter! :)

Ghost took a deep breath, listening to everything Laswell and Price had uncovered while he and Soap had been absent from the rest of the team. It felt good being there with his Captain and Sergeants. However, while Price was retelling everything Laswell had uncovered about the illegal missile operation conducted by Shepherd. It turned out, he had already worked with Graves and the Shadow Company. But Ghost wasn't panicking anymore, not that he would show it anyway. He kept still, eyeing his Captain and Laswell's soldier across from him.
''What now?'' Soap asked, looking into Price's direction, after Price had finished speaking.
''Let's regroup at the house, but I've gotta speak with Shepherd first...'' Price replied.
Ghost was, of course, curious about the woman who had spent days with Price and Garrick, having come from Laswell. The 141 rarely ever met with people from the CIA let alone someone who worked closely with Laswell. He was intrigued.
They stepped out of the vehicle, Ghost following right after Ibanez, and looked to his left to see Alejandro and the Los Vaqueros doing the same. The helicopters were already waiting for them. While Price ordered two men to drive the cars below them and get back to the base that way, everyone else entered their assigned helicopter.
''Sit with me. A little bit of time to catch up,'' Ghost looked at Alejandro as he spoke, walking next to Ibanez, and rubbing her back with his hand.
''Mhm,'' Ibanez hummed a reply and both of them sat next to each other.
Ghost didn't need to wait long before Soap was already excitedly taking a seat next to them. Of course, he was excited to see Ibanez. She was one of Laswell's and must have been one of the best if Laswell had come with her. Plus, from what Ghost could see, she was pleasant to look at as well.
Ghost, though, took a seat across from them and immediately heard a loud noise as someone took a seat next to him. Ghost shot his head to his right to see Gaz seated next to him with an annoyed look on his face. What was he aiming at?
When everyone was on board and they began their journey back to the base, Ghost kept eyeing the entire helicopter and only focused on the interesting drama set around him. Although he had never had luck in the romantic department, he was quick to realize what was happening. Gaz was practically radiating with jealousy next to him.
''So... bella,'' Alejandro began and Ghost spotted Ibanez's reaction to the name. Her lips forming into a small shy smile, she looked down, hiding her face behind the baseball cap. It must have been a nickname in Spanish. Ghost didn't know though. ''Tell me what you and Laswell have been up to.''
''Just messing about here, trying to help out,'' Ibanez replied, shrugging. ''Believe me, we've only been here for a few days. Still, though... managed to do a lot.''
Then, Ibanez looked away from Alejandro to spare a glance at Gaz. Ghost was chuckling inside, seeing much effect Ibanez had on the sergeant, as he practically instantly smiled back at her, eyes sparkling with joy that she had looked at him instead of the Colonel.
''I believe...'' Alejandro proudly stated, turning to Soap to his right. ''You already met Sergeant Mactavish... good man.''
''Pleased to meet ya,'' Soap nodded and smiled, showing his teeth.
