''Soap to Ghost. I'm with Rudy. Graves is KIA. How's Price?'' Soap spoke to Ghost while Elena, Price, and the pilot sat with Ghost together, Price checking Elena's head. It had slightly hit a wall in the crash. However, with only a few drops of blood lost, Elena calmed Price, taking his hand off the side of her head.

''Angry. Lost a good cigar in the crash... Ibanez hit her head but she's all right. Pilot's okay too. Out,'' Ghost replied and looked over at Elena.

Elena kept patting the blood away from her head every second until she saw Gaz.

''We'll get that checked once we get back,'' Price commanded.

''I'm fine just- it's not a big deal,'' Elena shrugged and eyed the Captain.

Gaz, standing next to Alejandro, looked much more lively than at the start of the mission or even during their departure at the helicopter.

''Good to see you all well. Let's open it up,'' Alejandro spoke, forming his lips into a smile, after seeing Elena. Truthfully, Elena's head hurt slightly, but she knew it wouldn't take long for the blood to stop dripping.

Standing among the 141 and Alejandro, Gaz kept his eyes both on Valeria and Elena, although he tried not to make it obvious that he was taking more notice of her now. Now, he felt he could actually take more care of Elena without the potential risk of aggravating the Colonel.

Finding out from Valeria that the missile was in Chicago, the men began to move out, Alejandro keeping Valeria under his tight grip.

''Soap, prep for transport and get Laswell-'' Price instructed. ''Hassan and the missile are in Chicago.''

Settling Valeria in the car alongside the last warning looks, Soap and Alejandro said their goodbyes. Even Gaz began to feel a little taken aback since he and the Colonel had just barely gotten a good word together, talking about Elena. Gaz was sure that wasn't the only thing the men had in common.

Somehow, Gaz felt the urge to stay by Elena's side when it was her turn to say goodbye to Alejandro. Not that he was scared of how close Alejandro would embrace her or what he'd say, Gaz simply wanted to be next to her. Although he had to admit to himself, he still felt some jealous sparks once he saw the smile that appeared on Alejandro's face once Elena stepped forward to him.

''Mi belleza,'' Alejandro greeted and Gaz noticed how widely Elena smiled. It must have, like before, been one of Alejandro's charming ways. The men, open arms, embraced Elena, causing her to stand on her tippy toes, something Gaz had not noticed in the chaos during their fight at the prison. ''Be careful out there... and call me if you ever need me. Otherwise, we only see each other because of Laswell.''

Elena chuckled, nodding, and stepped back from the hug.

''I know,'' she replied, giving Alejandro another smile. ''You take care of yourself too.''

''Come here,'' Alejandro said, closing his eyes, and pulling Elena closer to himself.

It happened so naturally that Gaz's stomach began to form into knots. Were the thing he said to him lies? Yet Alejandro did say that he still had feelings for Elena, Gaz thought to himself, especially when they saw each other.

''No sappy goodbyes now, Alejandro,'' Elena said.

''It wouldn't be me if I didn't,'' Alejandro replied, leaning only a bit closer to reach her forehead with his lips. A brief kiss against her skin while he tipped her baseball cap slightly with his other hand. ''But I know you're well taken care of here.''
