Chapter 81: We Aren't Saints VIII

"The Kim family are all greedy and materialistic people. They will do anything for money and I believe that Kim Tianmu is no exception." Won-Hae heaved a sigh and swayed Soyi gently.

Chaeyoung could feel Won-Hae's sorrow even though her eyes were averted.

"Mom, the Kim family is no longer related to us. Taehyung would never let Kim Tianmu take Siwoon away." Chaeyoung reached out and held Won-Hae's arm.

Hearing Chaeyoung mention his name, Siwoon looked up at her. He wanted to tell her that he did not need Taehyung to protect him but held back his words when his gaze landed on Won-Hae.

"Seulgi is in prison now. Are you sure she will not hurt you?" Won-Hae asked anxiously.

"Seulgi has no time for me. Moreover, she dare not mess with me." The corner of Chaeyoung's mouth lifted slightly.

"Chaeyoung, you need to work and take care of your children. I am worried about you. Why don't you move back to Kim Mansion?" Won-Hae suggested.

"Don't worry, mom. My brother is staying with me. Kim Tianmu would not dare snatch Siwoon away from us." Chaeyoung retracted her hand after listening to Won-Hae.

Won-Hae knew that Chaeyoung had not opened her heart to Taehyung. She merely nodded and did not talk further.

Won-Hae looked down at Soyi who had fallen asleep in Won-Hae's embrace with her brows knitted. Her hand was still holding onto Won-Hae's blouse.

"Mom, she will sleep for a long time, let me hold her." Chaeyoung reached out to carry Soyi.

"It's alright, let me hold her. I feel better when I hold her." Won-Hae smiled and rocked Soyi gently. Chaeyoung sat back down and did not reply.

Aunt Kim and Kim Tianxin had ruined Won-Hae's mood. Chaeyoung went back to the resort after lunch while Won-Hae brought the two children back to Kim Mansion.

On the way to the resort, Chaeyoung was still pondering the things Aunt Kim and Kim Tianxin had said. Kim Tianmu had an illegitimate son. In other words, Taehyung had a younger brother.

Chaeyoung merely snorted. Kim Tianmu had given all his love to his illegitimate son. Now he was here in B City to take Taehyung's son away just to inherit the assets of the Kim family. Kim Tianmu had hurt Taehyung so much and could not even let him off until now. Kim Tianmu was truly shameless and did not deserve to call himself a father.

Thinking Taehyung might not know about this, a fiery rage swept over her.

'What would Taehyung do if he knew that Kim Tianmu is here to take his son away?"

In Kim Enterprise, Taehyung was leaning back in his chair, facing away from the entrance. Twirling the pen in his hand, he sank into contemplation.

PA Kim stood behind the table with his arms in front of his body like a hotel waiter.

"Kim Zhenjiang is running out of time," Taehyung said nonchalantly.

"This is the latest inside information. Ex CEO's health has been rapidly declining since a few years ago. He was admitted to the intensive care unit half a month ago. Madam Kim is severely ill as well." PA Kim lowered his gaze and clenched his fists.

"What goes around comes around. Chaeyoung loves that saying the most," Taehyung said softly.

"You may go," Taehyung said emotionlessly and waved at PA Kim dismissively.

PA Kim wanted to say something but kept quiet and left the office instead.
