Chapter 411: Will You Stop Lying to Me?
"Chaeyoung..." Taehyung called out when Chaeyoung turned around to leave.
Taehyung was going to go after Chaeyoung when Siwoon stopped him to tell him that Soyi was crying and wanted to take out the needles on her.
Taehyung cursed and went to Soyi's bedroom to comfort his crying daughter.
Chaeyoung left the house with the information she overheard running through her head. Her aunt's death wasn't an accident, Taehyung's family caused her aunt's death.
Even though Taehyung had mentioned it to her before, she found it unacceptable when she heard it herself.
Chaeyoung went to the river and tried her best to calm her mind. Her aunt's death had nothing to do with Taehyung. Her aunt's death had nothing to do with Taehyung, and Taehyung was trying his best to investigate the truth.
Chaeyoung heard grass rustling behind her as she was deep in thought.
"Who's there?" Chaeyoung demanded, turning to look behind her. She stared into the dark while walking backwards unconsciously.
Chaeyoung clenched her fists and looked around when the shadow in the dark emerged into the light.
"Who are you?" asked Chaeyoung.
"Who I am is not important. You should know by now that there are unresolvable grudges between the Park Family and the Kim Family, and things between you and Taehyung must come to an end," said the mysterious man with a magnetic voice, his hands behind his back.
"You are the man who saved me the other day! Have you been following me?" asked Chaeyoung as if she didn't hear what the man said, "Where is my father? You know him, where is he?"
The man frowned when he heard Chaeyoung. "You will find out where your father is eventually. For now, leave Taehyung."
Leave Taehyung?
"Don't be ridiculous," Chaeyoung scoffed, "if you have been following me, why didn't you stop me when I decided to come back?"
The mysterious man kept quiet and Chaeyoung walked closer to him. "Can't answer that? Then I will answer it for you. You needed Taehyung to find out what really happened to my aunt, and the only one who could make him do that is me," said Chaeyoung clearly, "you needed me to make Taehyung take down the Bai family earlier, and you need the same for the Kim family now. Am I right?"
Chaeyoung was standing one step away from the man. "Tell In-Sung. He used Taehyung to ruin the Bai family, and is trying to use Taehyung again to ruin both the Kim family and the Lee Family, while trying to convince me to leave Taehyung. Tell him to not even think about it."
The man squinted at Chaeyoung and hesitated when he was going to say something. He took out his phone and dialed Chaeyoung's number, and then hung up after the call went through. "Your father would never do anything to harm you. Call me if you ever want to leave one day, and I will come to take you away."
The man left.
Chaeyoung held her phone in her hand, feeling overwhelmed.
The death of her aunt, the change in Kim Tianmu. Chaeyoung could feel so many clues about what really happened back then in her head but she couldn't seem to hold on to the one that could lead her to the answer.
Taehyung didn't manage to calm Soyi even with the rabbit in his arms. He paced in Soyi's room, and began to feel anxious when Chaeyoung hadn't returned after an hour. He was worried about Chaeyoung but at the same time he couldn't leave Soyi alone.
