Rio instantly went by the body and started to examine it, in his own patterns. There are specific things that he looks for and only he knows that 'thing'.
"It's not black magic," Rio stated. He dips his finger in one of the almost dry puddles of black blood and took it out before looking at the substance on his finger.
"There is a light powder around him... Black magic usually leaves a black print after it's done," he added.
He just confirmed my doubts...
"I had put black ash protection around the area and it's still there... Whoever did this, is among us on the campus." I commented.
Everyone tensed.
"I can track it," Rio said as he stood up.
He was determined.
"I'll ask Silas to lend me his library so that I can do this quickly," he added.
He knows about the library?
"He's out..." Clayton told him.
"Then I'll have to crash in... If I wait for too long this will disappear and we will be clueless."
"Okay go for it,"
I felt a hand on my hip and I turned to my side to look at Elijah.
"I need to head back to the border, I'll see you later," he informed me and I gave him a nod. He leaned and kissed the side of my head.
"Did I miss a chapter here?" Percy commented with a raised eyebrow.
"Yup," The twin said together.
"So now you are dating too?" Rio asked me with a chuckle.
"Yeah, he's my mate," I said softly with a smile.
Their mouth dropped open.
"YOU FOUND YOUR MATE!?"
"A hellhound and a tribrid... That's... wow." Percy was speechless.

"I'm coming with you by the border," Percy told Elijah who nodded.
Soon Rio was walking away to Silas's library while Elijah and Percy were off toward the border. Knowing Percy, he was probably going to run around and let his scent be visible be any creature around.
