Chapter 50: Bad deal for the great award

Wednesday's pov:

Thing is fine, he is alive. He still has more fight left in him thought Wednesday as she flipped through her evidence to recall if anyone else knew about Thing. So far it was Enid, Yoko, Ajax, you and your men. And Tyler.....

Wednesday shook her head. She was with Tyler tonight. Watching movies that truly terrified her due to how cheese they were. The only person that could've done it was Xavier. What she had witnessed earlier in the day only proved it. Why would he be meeting Dr. Kinble in the middle of the woods in such a panic after she confronted him.

"I will kill you Xavier." She growled, nearly tearing the leather cover of her journal. Images of Thing's limp body tarnished her mind like blood on white covers. No amount of detergent or water could get rid of it. Only burning it could.

If he attacked Eugene who he saw me talking to after I broke our date to the dance and now Thing, he may attack someone else close to me. Her mind went through potential candidates. Enid was the first one she thought of but right now the werewolf didn't want to know anything about her so the timing was perfect. She will be safe for the time being. Tyler? Maybe since Xavier showed jealousy towards him and has a score to settle with the normie boy. But Tyler's dad was the Sheriff and had grounded Tyler to the point he couldn't leave the house without his dad's presence. So he's safe. The next was you.

Secretly hoping that her sharp nails could claw off her skin to make her focus on the physical pain rather than the one in her empty heart. Kicking the bookcase next to her bed an avalanche of books stoned her. It did nothing to bring her out of her mind till the sharp reflection of a book poked her eye.

Through the cracks of her fingers, a large black with a bit of gold book caught her. Said book had many sticky notes and torn paper sticking out of it. It was a demonology book she had checked out of the Nightshades library after she witnessed you suffering from soul erosion.

Picking up the book she skimmed through it, hoping to find an ally that could help her or a way to contact one of your demons.

Suddenly, she stopped dead in her tracks. There a page with a beautiful looking demoness was staring into her soul with golden eyes and a seductive smile that bloomed like the shadows did around her sinful body. Above her was written Agony's Embrace, second princess of Hell.

"Evelynn."

Without a second though Wednesday began to redraw the seance circle she did the day of her birthday. However, this time a very elaborate pentagram was in the center. A pentagram that mirrored perfectly the one in the book.

Setting candles and cutting her plam she began to chant in Latin. Slowly the candles around her died down as darkness consumed her. Eventually there was no more light. Not even the moon seemed to peek out.

She waited and wait till it was 20 mintues.

"IF YOUR GOING TO COME OUT THEN DO IT NOW BEFORE I SUMMON SOMEONE MORE USEFUL!" shouts the ravenette. Seconds pass, nothing. "I'm offering you my virgin body-"
