Y/N's pov:
The smell of gunpowder suffocated the shooting room. Bullet's casing trickled on the ground one after the other along with drops of blood. The banging of the bullets competed with your blood-lusting heart that wanted to run out of your chest.
"Y/N!" Shouts Evelynn.
You only answer back with gun shots snipping the falling apart board.
"Y/N!" shouts Evelynn once more. You now answer with the clip falling on the ground and clicking a new one. However, a clicking rang instead of a bang. You could see shadow tendrils seeping into the gun.
Scoffing you throw the glock on the ground and pick up a sniper. Laying on the ground you load up. Only for a leg appears on the scope.
"What?!" You snap looking at the golden glaring eyes.
Sitting down, she gently pushed the sniper to the side. You sigh and sit up. Here comes another round of "you'll find another" or "she doesn't deserve you."
It was bad enough that the nobles kept bugging you to date their kids even more now and that your father tried to have the talk with you but kept stuttering to the point he sent Edgar in to do it. You still made him nervous like your mother would. Didn't help the current feeling of emptiness when he mumbled that as he left your room.
"Before you say anything yes I know there's other girls and boys out there! Yes I know my duty will have me court again and even marry for political reasons! Yes I know she's a human and they can't be trusted! YES, I KNOW I'M A GODDAMN FUCKING FOOL FOR FALLING IN LOVE AGAIN!"
Evelynn wraps her arms around you. "It's okay. No one else is here, let it out without breaking yourself more."
With that you bury your head into her shoulder and allow yourself to fall apart in her arms. Your bloody knuckles stains the back of her shirt as your tears and snoot do to the front.
How ironic it was. The woman who first broke your heart was the one providing comfort from the girl who had made you fall and believe in love again. Once again you were betrayed.
You don't know how long you were crying for. But you cried your soul out. You weren't crying just because Wednesday cheated on you. With Tyler of all people. But she was indeed the straw that broke the camel's back.
You cried because the girl you loved chose not to believe you, betray and hurt you in 2 ways you didn't expect. Second, finding out a good junk of your childhood was a lie. Thirdly that your mother and brother were killed. Your brother was killed by your own hands because he was able to regain his memories due to inheriting your father's memory distortion ability and was plotting to kill your father to get you both back on the throne to declare war on the normies! Because they killed your mother! Fourthly everyone you trusted was lying to you since you were 5! Fifthly everything you had worked for was on the brick of falling apart due to normies wanting to commit genocide and your side is willing to welcome their declaration with open arms! Six, next year aka January which was a bloody month away you are going to be crowned Queen to rule by your father's side as parent and child. Yet since two nights ago the council has been demanding you to start taking proposals seriously now that you were crown princess. But honestly they just want your father off the throne for he was on it for 468 years now and they wanted a chance at power! You being bisexual only made them greedy and propose the royal harem to be reestablished. The very thing your father broke. Normally, it was just three but they were demanding TEN!!!!!
