Chapter 53: Declarations of blood, sweat, and tears

Author's note: Basically on winter break now so expect new chapters to be appearing more often like they did over the summer! 2 chapters left!

Wednesday's pov:

I can fix all of this! I can make it up to her, thought Wednesday as she saw Tyler arrive at the gazebo. The way the fog and half moon's light shined upon him made his face appear so innocent. Yet the shadows that scared it showed how even the most weak-looking people are never truly innocent. Sometimes their the worse type of sinners than those who actually parade their sins. His actual face actually looks a bit like his Hyde form! How didn't I notice!?

Stepping out of the shadows she greets the boy she so badly wanted to stab with her sword. Her fingers itched for the knife she had in her back pocket but murdering him wouldn't solve the issue at hand completely. It would only make matters worse and seem like she was trying to get rid of a problem the easy way. Then the idea of punching him came to mind thanks to his cocky smile when he asked if the meeting was a date.

"Its a surprise," she says as she circles him like a vulture. "When I came to Nevermore, romance was the last thing on my mind. But when you kissed me..."

A flash back to you standing in the middle of the intersection stabbed her heart. "You opened my eyes and suddenly everything started making sense."

Taking a deep breath she sighs and looks at Thing who was recording behind one of the pillars with Bianca's phone. Ironically, she had to get the help of people she didn't even like. Then again, she found you annoying and claimed that she didn't like you. Yet here she was with a bleeding heart and eyes that were burnt again with tears because she didn't believe you.

"You made me realize that what happened between me and Y/N was a mistake." Tyler chuckles and says 'yeah'. He shuffles closer to her and mentions how he knew she would realize that you were a massive red flag.

Walking closer to him, "I should've listened to her. I should've read the files she found. I should've kept her away from the enemy and never gotten close to her to begin with. I should've listened to Xavier's warning because the Hyde is still out here. I should've dug around in Kinbott's reports about you because she may have found a clue to the fact your the Hyde during one of your sessions."

Tyler tries to fight back but he is quickly interrupted by Wednesday pointing out the times he knew information that Xavier nor anyone else knew. Each time he tried to interject she only spoke louder. "I should've let Y/N kill you when she had the chance."

Tyler's face cracks and a bit of anger seeps through his eyes. "If I was the monster then why would you bring me out here alone?"

"Who said I was alone?" Bianca, Ajax, Yoko, and others of the Nightshades. Before he could walk away Bianca hypnotises him. The display of power only made her think about the demoness she made a deal with. Ironic once again, relying on the power of mind and heart control to solve problems once again.

In Xavier's studio, Tyler asked her why she was hurting him. She could only walk to the table and grab a hammer. "To punish myself for my blindness."

Y/N's pov:

"Well be arriving to Canada 6 hours your highness," said a solider bowing to you. You give him a wary smile and wave him off.

"Get use to it, darling." said Y/B/F/N in a voice that mimicked Evelynn's sultry voice tone. However, hers was so shitty that is sounded like she had lost her voice.

You kick her in the shin as a smile scratches your face for less than a second. The past few days it's been impossible to conjure a true happy smile. Looking out the window you see the Atlantic ocean thrashing around, telling you to jump off the plane so it can see how long it takes to tear you apart like the many ships at the bottom. But sadly, the boat your heart thought was safe to travel in and gentle pushed it away from the shore of your defensive critical thinking got hit with an iceberg named Wednesday Addams and was now at the very bottom of the ocean covered in ice.
