Jealousy

Wang's Pov.

Lee told me everything about Lorenzo, but not Sean. Lee seemed just as puzzled as I was about Sean's identity. His lack of knowledge about Sean only fueled my curiosity further. I thanked Lee for his help and hung up. I couldn't shake the feeling that Sean was more than meets the eye.

I lay in bed, turning over and tossing, unable to sleep. Sean's thoughts flooded my mind, making it even harder to find peace. It was as if his presence lingered in every corner of my thoughts, refusing to let me rest.

In my sleepless state, I couldn't help but think. Lee could not find anything about Sean. My dad might face a similar struggle, too. But with Lorenzo's dad being a lawyer, I couldn't help but worry that he might look at my background. This could potentially expose something that harms my dad.

Despite the uncertainty, a glimmer of hope flickered within me. Maybe, just maybe, there was a chance for us. Perhaps. It was a slim possibility, but one that kept my spirits from plummeting, and with that, I slept.

I woke up feeling refreshed and immediately asked Lee to inform me when Sean arrived at the resort.

I spend the majority of my time in my room eating, playing video games, and sleeping, rarely leaving to do anything else.

When I got out of the bathroom, I noticed that my phone had been ringing the entire time. Since I rarely receive calls, I was surprised and didn't check.

Five minutes later, I heard a loud knock on the door and opened it.

I called. Lee said immediately

"Oh, that was you," I said.

"He is in the private pool with Lorenzo," Lee said, walking away.

Jealousy burned through my veins, and I fumed with anger as I walked out of the room. I clenched my fists as I marched towards the pool, feeling rage.

I couldn't help but feel angry at myself for not picking up the call. If I had done so five minutes earlier, Sean wouldn't have been in the pool with Lorenzo. I felt a surge of jealousy.

I was astounded by what I saw when I entered the pool area. There, I saw Lorenzo tracing his fingers on Sean's chest, and it filled me with anger. All I wanted to do was smash that boy's head against a brick wall. Rage consumed me as I shouted Sean's name, causing him to immediately move away from Lorenzo.

"What the hell do you think you're doing?" I asked, glaring at Lorenzo.

Lorenzo hissed and walked out of the pool, not saying a word.

I watched as Sean walked out of the pool with his brief, and I had to resist the urge to reach out and touch him. His toned body glistened with water droplets, and he looked incredibly sexy at that moment. I felt my heart beat faster as I saw him.

Sean quickly washed off chlorine from his body before grabbing a towel to wrap around his waist. He discarded his boxers to avoid wetting his clothes. I caught a glimpse of his cock as he wore his trousers, making my mouth water with need. His toned body was accentuated by his hip curves, and I felt a sudden surge of desire course through me. I quickly looked away, trying to focus.

When he finished dressing, he took a swig of his beer and walked away.

Where do you think you are going? I asked. Masking my aroused voice.

He turned around and calmly looked me in the eye. "I'm off to grab a beer. If you have something to say, say it. However, don't expect me to stick around and listen to your complaints until you tell me what your exact problem is." With that, he turned and walked out without looking back.

I stood there, feeling helpless, as if the weight of the world was on my shoulders. It seemed like everything about my life had to be so difficult. Exhausted, both physically and emotionally, I slumped beside a couch. Tears streamed down my face as I tried to make sense of it all. The overwhelming frustration and sadness consumed me.

In my despair, a familiar ringtone pierced through the heavy silence. It was a sound I knew all too well. With a glimmer of hope, I lifted my head and saw the screen displaying the name "Baby." I knew instantly that it was Sean's mom calling.

My heart skipped a beat as I reached for the phone, my trembling hands struggling to steady themselves. I answered the call. The sound of Sean's mother's voice filled my ears, bringing comfort amidst my chaos.

"Mom," I said. My voice choked on emotion. It felt like a lifeline, a connection to someone who understood and cared.

"Baby, are you okay?" sheasked. Hervoice was tinged with sadness and anxiety.

Your son forgot his phone. He will return, I said. But before then, can you please pretend to be my mom and comfort me? I said.

"Of course, baby," she replied. Her voice was gentle and soothing. "Did someone hurt you? Talk to Mommy."

There is someone I recently met who captured my attention. He is sweet and handsome. I develop strong feelings for him, which both excites and scares me. The reason for my fear lies in my father's expectations for my future. He has expressed his desire for me to marry his friend's daughter, a prospect I am not particularly enthusiastic about.

As I sit here, tears streaming down my face, I can't help but feel conflicted. On the one other hand, I want to follow my heart and pursue a relationship with this guy who has captured my affection. On the other hand, I am terrified of the consequences if my father discovers him.

Where is he now? She asked, sounding concerned.

"He's cheating on me with some guy," I said, laughing at my childish behavior.

Have you tried talking to him about your feelings to find out if he feels the same? She asked.

I paused for a moment, collecting my thoughts. "He told me he liked me already, but I'm scared," I said quietly, trying to contain my emotions. "I don't want to hurt him."

"Your father may have some say in your life, but it is ultimately up to you. If this guy makes you happy and you like him, go for it. If your father truly loves you, he will understand and accept your choice." She replied.

Thank you," I said, feeling better after talking to her. The weight on my chest lifted, and I could finally breathe again. It was in that moment of respite that I heard footsteps drawing nearer. Curiosity piqued, and I instinctively raised my head to see who it was. To my surprise, it was Sean, the very person I had been discussing on the phone just moments ago.

Whispering urgently into the phone, my voice barely above a breath, I informed his mom on the other end, "The cheater is here." My heart raced as I handed Sean his phone.

"Mom," he said, his voice shaking as he stared at me with wide eyes. I could almost hear the rage on the other end of the line and imagine the scolding he received. He quickly told her he'd call her back and hung up the phone.

Clearing his throat, Sean nervously asked, "You told my mom I was your boyfriend and cheating?"

My throat suddenly felt dry. I didn't want to cause trouble for Sean's family; his mother was kind, and his grandfather was too. I also didn't want to confront him about my feelings, not when my father is so ruthless. So, without saying a word, I turned and walked away.
