"I can't believe you didn't find him or her" Dan said. "Hey, it's good to see you" Rufus said and gave Dan a quick hug. "Hey" Dan said patting his back.
"Where's your sister" Rufus asked once he pulled away from the hug. "Oh, she left for school already" Dan said and Rufus let out a sigh of relief.
"Yeah, sigh of relief all around in fact I should get going myself" Dan said grabbing his bag.
"Why don't I go with you" Rufus said. "Well because I'm not a third grader anymore" Dan said.
"Come on we can catch up today's the first day of your last semester allow me a trip down nolstalgia lane" Rufus said.
"Alright that's fine but no hugs" Dan said. "Is Mia coming I know you sometimes go to school together" Rufus asked. "Yeah, she should be here any minute" Dan said.
"Why" Dan asked. "No reason" Rufus said and there was a knock on the door.
"That must be her" Dan said and Rufus answered the door. Rufus looked at Mia for the first time since he's found out she's his daughter and he couldn't help but smile.
"Hey Mr. Humphrey" Mia said. "Mia please call me Rufus" Rufus said. "Okay will do" Mia said. "We ready to go" Mia asked.
"Yeah, my dad is gonna walk with us" Dan said. "Okay cool let's go" Mia said and they all left.

After Mia found Blair and they caught up they went to find Serena. When Serena found them first and went to them.
