Two days after the Fall of the TriskelionSTEVE DUCKED UNDER HIS shield as a barrage of bullets met him. He gritted his teeth, sprinting forward, ramming into a HYDRA agent. The man grunted as Steve slammed his shield into his throat. The agent gurgled and Steve's lips curled into a snarl as he angrily slammed his foot into his torso. He felt a hand grip his forearm and he turned swiftly, lifting his arm.
He stopped when he saw Sam, decked out in his Falcon suit. He gave him a look that questioned if he was okay and Steve swallowed hard. He exhaled, before giving him a stiff nod. His eyes flicked back to the open warehouse, agents swarming toward them.
He readied his shield as Natasha landed somewhere behind them. Clint appearing above, hanging out from a vent, shooting three arrows at a time. Only some of the agents fell as they shot upwards toward Clint. He moved to dive back into the vents as Tony crashed through the window, repulsor pointed toward them.
Before any of them could start forwards, a figure dressed in black with an obsidian crown slammed through the roof and hit the ground. A crater formed and some of the HYDRA agents screamed as their bodies disintegrated.
Steve held his shield up, eyes narrowing on the figure. Sam's grip on his guns tightened as Natasha stiffened, her grip on her guns tightening. This figure– it was the same one who'd appeared just a few days ago. How could– why was she here?
"Is that a friendly?" Tony asked over comms as the figure rose to stand.
"She was at the Triskelion before it fell." Natasha replied. "Made sure Rumlow didn't shoot me in the head."
"The one who acts like Lucy?" Steve questioned from beside her.
Natasha gave him a single nod as they watched the figure tentatively glance between all of the agents.
