Kacchan’s POV
It’s been weeks since camp and Deku has been silent ever since Mom and Dad brought us home. When a teacher called on him he would answer the question and return to whatever he was drawing in his private notebook, the one that none of us were allowed to look inside of.It was the only time I got to hear his voice.
As soon as we got back to the dorms he would go to my room and once he was out of the school uniform he would crawl into bed and that was the end. I spent most of my time with him, except when it was our turn to cook, then Toshi and I would silently cook but Deku would just stay in bed.
It’s driving me crazy! What am I supposed to do? This never happened in our first life, I never knew that the fire breathing bastard was All-For-One and neither did Mom or Dad. Apparently Dad only ever fought All-For-One while he was wearing a mask and the only HINT that any of us had was the day he left when he found out Dad was going to be teaching Deku self defense. And that was just shock, the same shock as when my hag and old man found out Mom was going to marry him.
Life hasn’t been easy since. Deku’s smile completely disappeared and we were in the middle of class when Mom walked in with a very happy Nezu.
“Today I’ll be teaching heroics. My husband was called to the association for a meeting. Please don’t mind my girls, Aiko and Yuki have been begging to come since the sports festival,” She announced and both girls came running in to tackle us. Yuki went to Toshi while Aiko went straight to Deku before pulling me in too.
“Why haven’t you been coming home? I’ve missed you so much!” Aiko cried out while Yuki just silently cried in Toshi’s arms. Part of me was hurt because I was Yuki’s blood brother but I already knew that she and Toshi have a special bond of their own. I overheard her one day saying that sometimes she feels like she doesn’t belong in our family and ever since she and Toshi have been thick as thieves. Again, it kind of hurt me but there wasn’t much I could do. After all, most of her life I was just someone she could talk to through a screen, just like Deku and Toshi so to her we were all the exact same. It would have been better if her and our parents had gone with us around the world but that wasn't an option.
We tried to calm them down and if anything Yuki and Aiko helped Toshi feel so much better. While Deku still looks pretty much unresponsive at least emotionally while he tries to get them to smile.
“How can you expect me to smile when you aren’t?” Aiko demanded, tired of his hypocrisy and I had to look away because damn she just hit the nail on the head.
“Okay now girls, the boys are still in class so try not to embarrass them too much,” Mom lectured, her eyes shining. “Plus we brought that special thing just for today’s class.” I looked up confused but she didn’t explain and the girls pretended to zip their lips and didn’t say anything more while they wiped their tears away. Needless to say our class wasn’t the only ones confused and I think their only saving grace was the fact that we had no clue as to what they were talking about either.

“Okay! First Hitoshi, step up right here and I want you to hit this sack with everything you have,” Mom announced and after looking back at us he did as he was told. The sack wiggled and moved a bit but the look of surprise of Toshi’s face didn’t escape anyone.
“Can I hit it again?” He asked looking up at Mom hopefully and she laughed before nodding that he could. He ended up hitting it a couple dozen times and when he was done he was just smiling, the biggest smile I’ve seen in a long ass time.
“Okay, Katsuki it's your turn!” Mom called out and Toshi left the area and I stepped up. She gave me the same instructions and I even coated myself in my red lightning to hit it and it felt like stress was just dumped off of me and I can’t really explain it. It was like I was lifted up on a cloud. I hit it again and again and I lost count of how many times I hit it before I stepped away smiling at Deku.
He stepped forward and hit it, green energy crackling everywhere while he kept punching the thing to the point that I thought that it would be destroyed until he gave it one more hit that did knock over a nearby collapsed building in the gym and somehow the bag was just fine and Deku didn’t look like he was barely alive anymore.
“Go ahead and hit it a few more times,” Mom encouraged while Nezu cackled like a demon next to her. By the time the entire class was done punching the thing she asked if anyone wanted to go again and by around the third or fourth round Deku was smiling again. Class ended after the seventh time around.
“Okay Mom, what is in that thing?” Deku laughed and we all waited for the answer. She shrugged and looked at Nezu who eagerly nodded and she opened the sack up to show us the fire breathing bastard’s head muzzled and taped shut mouth. He was glaring at her and obviously trying to curse her but there wasn’t any sound coming from it.
“Turns out my ex-husband is good for something, the more you hit him the more he takes away all the negativity you’ve accumulated. Must have been a quirk he had before,” she shrugged and many of our classmates gasped in horror and revulsion while I couldn’t stop laughing.
“Please tell me we can keep the bastard?” I begged between gasping for air.
“As the monster’s only relatives yes, his body is ours to do with what we please but sorry Katsuki, at most we’ll only be able to keep it for a week then we will be cremating the-” she looked around remembering that she is technically a teacher at the moment so Nezu finished for her.
“Villain,” he supplied and she smiled, acknowledging the help.
“You were married to a villain before?” Raccoon Eyes asked, raising her hand, looking shocked.
“Sadly yes, I didn’t know he was a villain until he kidnapped my boys though. Well aside from me divorcing the human trash that is,” Mom smiled in answer but several of our classmates still took another step back and I don’t blame them. After all, she is willing to mutilate her ex-husband’s still conscious decapitated head weeks after she tore him to pieces. The thought alone was more than scary.
Deku however had frozen at the sight of the beaten and bruised head of his father. I saw him tighten his fist and relax it again several times as he tried to control the emotions whirling through his body and I carefully reached over and tapped his shoulder making him jump before I tugged him into my arms. Our class focused solely on Mom and the punching bag in her hands.
“I think you should hit it a few more times,” I whispered in his ear and he gave a dry laugh that told me all that I needed.
“Mom, can we hit it a few more times?” I called out and she quickly closed the head up in the bag again and hung it up. I pushed Deku forward and if I thought he was going overboard before it was nothing compared to now. Nezu will have to install more buildings for this gym, that is for sure. Once he was done I gently pushed Toshi forward who looked back at me confused before Deku pulled him to join him.
“I feel like this is far more personal than I should know,” I overheard my idiots talking to themselves and smiled. They are a lot smarter than they let on to be. That said I don’t blame our class for being taken aback by the fact we were technically beating a villain to a pulp but the fact that he was our personal villain was unknown to them, well at least the details. The smarter kids in class averted their eyes with knowing looks while Nezu was giggling happily.
“Mom, did you agree to become a teacher or something? Our principal is a little too happy,” I asked her, pointing at Nezu who was being creepy enough for the girls to avoid him.
“No actually, I gave the credit for capturing the world’s number one villain to UA so the school is getting enormous amounts of funds and he has been like that ever since. He was over the moon when I asked if this would be allowed. Turns out I can't just give the credit and he is using this to fill out the paperwork," she answered and I had to hand it to her. That's way more than just two birds with one stone.
She won't get any of the fallout from literally any of the rage and the three of us won't be held accountable for anything either. Dad would remain in not only good standing but will also keep his number one hero status and Mom will be able to just work part time as a hero and otherwise stay with Aiko. Did the woman give her some kind of enhanced strategy quirk while she was at it? I mean damn.
I turn my attention back to Deku, still he has been acting odd. Is it really from finding out his father was All-For-One?
