Kacchan’s POV

“Kacchan! Deku! Toshi!” I heard her sweet little voice and we all looked up to see Aiko running towards us apparently dragging All Might with her while Mom was laughing behind them as she followed them. We had just been sitting down to eat and once she was an acceptable distance she dropped Uncle’s hand like a hot potato and ran into my arms. Her squealing giggles made us all laugh and Deku and Toshi on either side of me teased and played with her and fed her little bits of the fruit from their trays.

“I guess I’ll go get her, her own tray,” Uncle chuckled but was blocked by Mom who pointed him back towards us before turning towards the concession stand nearby.

“How did you make Mom mad this time?” I asked, seriously confused. I mean how much does he have to push his luck? Really?

“I think this is about me grounding you over the intercom,” he sighed before rubbing at his face.

“So we’re not grounded?” I asked, teasing him. “By the way, what were we going to be grounded from exactly? We’ve never been grounded before,” I teased some more. Toshi and Deku were trying very hard not to laugh, even covering their mouths but Uncle just rolled his eyes.

“I already gave in, give it a rest,” he sighed before ruffling our hair, one at a time.

“I told Daddy he can’t and he actually admitted it!” Aiko started bouncing on my knee and we all laughed.

“We know, we saw you on the screen. You are such a big girl,” Toshi cooed at her and Uncle looked like he just wanted the floor to swallow him up.

“That’s not the only thing the screen showed either, but at least they waited to show it until after the round. I’m sure there would be a lot of pissed off students if it was aired during the chariot race,” I raised an eyebrow at Uncle and he looked at me confused.

“I take it that we don’t need to call Endeavor, uncle anytime soon?” Deku asked, clarifying the situation and Uncle rubbed at his eyes, stressed.

“At the end of the day I just want you all to be healthy, happy and safe. Just promise me that you will at least try?” Uncle begged and damn it. I really have gone soft.

“It’s okay Dad, we know that you only want what’s best for us and you’re not actually trying to control us,” I picked up my drink and took a sip, pretending that I didn’t just drop the Dad bomb all of a sudden. He however was so happy it looked like he was about to cry, did I really torture him that much by holding off?

I was just trying not to confuse anyone with the whole Mom and Dad thing considering my actual parents are alive, well and not worthless pieces of shit. The only reason they let me go with the Yagi’s all over the world was because every time I was too far from Deku I would all but break down and I didn’t get any better unless Deku came back. Whether it was hours, days or weeks didn’t matter besides that they were good to me the first time around. It’s not their fault that I was such a bastard, that was my fault for never even trying to understand emotions to start with.

“Katsuki?” Uncle was really starting to tear up and I held up Aiko like a shield.

“Sappy be gone!” I declared, making Aiko squeal happily and no one could resist my cute little sister attack, least of all Dad. Oh that is going to take some getting used to. Thinking of him as Dad and not Uncle. Well my old man is really mellow about all of this anyway and besides, I did have to talk to him and my hag after I called Aunty, Mom and they were surprisingly happy about it. Turns out the great All Might and Green Demon weren’t the only ones waiting for it but Deku will call my parents Mom and Dad when he is talking to them but Aunty and Uncle when they aren’t around.

Like I said, confusing as hell.

Aiko however was the perfect defense for Dad. He couldn’t help chuckling and making silly little faces at her who every time I would start to put her down on the floor would jump up again. Okay not my smartest plan, Aiko is going to exhaust my arms at this rate and we still have the 1vs1 matches coming up.

“Aiko, my turn!” Deku pouted and immediately got her attention, letting me put her down so that Deku could send her up into the air, squealing in joy while falling back to earth. Deku was even giving her extra air time by using the telekinesis part of his quirk, making the rest of us laugh at the sight.

“Boys, eat your food. Don’t let it get cold. I got you all popsicles but finish eating first,” Mom came up holding a hotdog for Aiko and the frozen treats. Aiko finished her’s before the rest of us but to be fair she only had the hotdog and bun while we had an actual tray of food.

“Yay! I win, I’m the best and I’ll be the best hero too!” Aiko announced standing up holding her popsicle like a wand or something.

“Of course you are. Aiko, what’s your favorite color?” Toshi asked innocently enough after her treat was finished and you would think Aiko would know better by now but she always falls for it.

“Green of-” she stopped, falling under Toshi’s quirk.

“Be a good girl and practice your ballet while we finish eating our lunch,” he instructed her and she started the moment he said the word.

“Hitoshi,” Mom pouted but Toshi just smiled at her as if nothing in the world could actually go wrong. “Fine, but if she breaks anything you have to use your allowance to pay for it.” Toshi nodded quickly and both Mom and Dad had to just watch as Aiko didn’t stop and chatter cutely every ten seconds and instead appeared to be ready for a recital that was about to start.

“Maybe ballet wasn’t the best choice for her. She did say she wants to be a hero like the rest of us,” Deku mumbled loud enough for all of us to hear.

“But when she was given the choices that is what she wanted more than anything,” Dad sighed out as if he thought about this a lot and you know what? He probably has.

“Has she manifested her quirk at all yet?” I asked, changing the subject so that Aiko wouldn’t be mad when she was released again.

“Not yet, but I’m sure it’s coming. Even if she is quirkless though, we will support her and her dreams. It’s not like she would be the only one that fights without a quirk-”

I coughed, clearing my throat to get his attention, reminding him that Aiko can still hear him just fine right now.

“But, it’s still early. Yuki really got hers far too early. It must be a night-,” he quickly reworded it and I have to actually agree but that didn’t stop me from coughing to cover up his still poor word choice. Yuki got hers earlier this month and it has been interesting at the very least.

“I mean…” Mom pulled out a pack of cookies from her purse and handed them to Dad as if she already knew he would get in trouble over this. “Aiko, would you like a cookie?” He asked and Toshi released her from his quirk and she was cheering about yummy cookies now.

Yuki’s quirk allowed her to produce any chemical she wanted at her fingertips, everything from my nitroglycerin to my hags hormone shit, if she can understand the basics of the chemical she can produce it. She made gasoline one day and it caught fire when our dad hit the table, his quirk mixing with it. They had to stay at a hotel for a week.

“Aiko, who is your favorite person?” I asked to take everyone’s thoughts off of Yuki. Aiko is still upset that she didn’t come with us today.

“Mommy of course!” She answered without even taking a breath.

“I knew it!” Dad sighed and Deku, Toshi and I slumped, making her pause and look around.

“What’s wrong? You’re all making sad faces,” she sounded like she was about to cry and Mom came over smiling.

“They just all wanted to be your favorite person too. Don’t worry you didn’t do anything bad,” Mom reassured her. Yeah right, just bad for my heart.

“Time to get ready for the next round!” I looked up to see my idiots running over and I took a few more bites of food before standing up and cleaning up after myself. Deku and Toshi next to me as we said our goodbyes and ran off with our classmates.
