"Jisung?" I enter the house and untie my shoelaces, putting the converse on the rack. "I'm back."

There's no answer, which makes me relive what happened a few days ago. Did he leave again?

I walk further into the hallway. To the left it's the living room, and to the right it's the kitchen. I turn on the lights.

With just my peripheral vision I check the kitchen and it's empty. I rush upstairs, just to find vacant rooms.

"Man, come on." I groan, deciding to first change my clothes.

The cat is nowhere to be seen either and that makes me feel a little bit uneasy. Though, I know they tend to fall asleep in hidden spots so I'm guessing everything's fine.

With a shaking heart, I grab a pair of dark blue shorts and a baby blue t-shirt and change after taking a short cold shower.

Since it's summer the weather is really hot. And I don't like the feeling of sweat running down my body and forehead.

It feels much better to be clean, I think as I step out of the ensuite bathroom and look around my room.

The pair of clothes I left in the morning aren't there anymore. I'm not sure if I'm relieved or not.

"Doongie?" I shout softly while walking down the stairs carefully. The lights are faint and I don't feel like breaking a bone yet.

There's a slight meow sound coming from the living room. It's so silent that it makes me wonder if it happened or if my brain made it up.

"Come here."

No one comes besides another gentle purr. I hurry to the living room.

Oh my god.

"Jisung, you idiot." I mumble and approach the couch where the latter is sleeping.

He's sleeping on his side, facing the tv that had turned off. Or maybe he never turned it on in the first place.

His cheeks are puffed up, his hands laying under his right cheek, causing his lips to pout a little. Not to mention the slight drooling that wets my couch.

That's a bit disgusting, honestly, but I can't blame him. He must be really tired.

"Wake up." I nudge his shoulder.

Jisung doesn't even budge. He is breathing, which assures me that he didn't die. What a relief.

"Wake up." I kneel down in front of the couch, basically in front of his face and I try again, shaking him by the shoulder.

The sleeping beauty hums. A hum that sounds rather irritated.

"Wake your ass up."

"Mm." he mumbles and licks his lips, then parts them again, allowing him to soak another spot on my couch.
