"Minho." A hand shakes me, followed by a quiet voice. "Minho," another tug. "Minho Minho Minho Minho!"
I roll on the floor, my face now buried in the white pillow. "Sleep."
"Min–" he starts again but pauses to yelp when a loud noise can be heard. "I'm scared, wake up."
A booming sound reverberates through the whole house, shaking the ground with its power.
"It's just a thunder."
"Please, Minho," Jisung whimpers.
My eyes slowly open and I turn around, facing the boy whom I've spent all my time yesterday with. It had been past twelve when we met and ever since then we've been together.
Right— the night we crossed paths was the night we were both going to drown ourselves. It's been only a day yet I feel fairly comfortable around him.
Still, he's not a friend. Could potentially become one, though. I hope not.
Another thunder rumbles raucously and I could swear I see his soul leaving him. "I'm up."
Jisung is peeking down at me from his cross-legged position on the bed, bathed in fright. It makes me wonder why he's having such reactions from just a thunderstorm.
Sure, loud noises can be scary, but we are safe inside my house. As safe and sound as one can get.
"I don't know how to help you."
"Hug me?" Jisung's eye shape turns downwards.
I sigh, sitting up. I've never really hugged anyone. Maybe Jeongin, though he was always the one clinging onto me.
Touchy people aren't my cup of tea.
"Let's watch a movie instead."
Hope seems to have entered his eyes as the galaxy can be seen again inside of them.
"Howl's moving castle? I heard that it's a nice anime." I propose, then.
"Anime? I thought it was just a novel." Jisung tilts his head, a confused look adorning his soft facial features.
"Have you been living under a rock?" I giggle and stand up from the floor, walking towards the bathroom. "I'll be right back."
"No, don't leave me!"
"You can't come in with me, idiot. I'll be quick."
The brunette contemplates for a second but manages to nod a little, sliding back down on the bed. I shut the door and wash my face, then brush my teeth.
It only takes me a few minutes to finish freshening up, so in no time I'm back inside the bedroom.
Jisung is staring out the window, looking rather lifeless. The whole room reeks of sadness. It's making my mood low as well.
