It's around eight

It's around eight. Eight in the damn morning.

Once again, another night passed and I got little to no sleep. This time it's because of those words he had said.

Jisung is sleeping peacefully. He probably knocked of immediately, like he usually does.

The rain calmed down around four o'clock, two hours later than they had expected. Now it's foggy outside, the sun refusing to break through the clouds.

I'm standing on the terrace, wrapped in a warm beige hoodie.

Our garden looks completely abandoned, like the house. It's full of tall grass which is probably up to my knees, giving the impression that it's a green pool instead.

It's a little bit cold, though the mug of hot chocolate emanates heat (sadly not like a fireplace).

The chair underneath me is creaky. My mother got it from her parent's house some years ago. It must be way older than I am.

This type of atmosphere is what I like to see. It makes me feel somewhat melancholic, in a good way. I think it's very beautiful when the wet leaves fly into the world because of the powerful wind and they get to travel.

Now that I think about it, Myungho liked to travel a lot. He wanted to visit so many countries that he even made a list.

His wife, on the other hand, did not want that. She liked her native country. She loved it here.

That led the two of them to numerous fights.

It wasn't the only reason, but it might have been the main one. I still wonder why they didn't divorce when they could have.

Maybe if they did, she wouldn't have died. She'd still be here.

I sigh and suddenly, out of nowhere, two arms wrap around my neck, followed by a chin resting on top of my head. A familiar aroma enters my nostrils, strawberry scented.

"Boo!" his raspy, quite deep voice interrupts the sound of nature.

"Ah!" I fake it mockingly, turning my head to look dead into his eyes that own the colour of the mug situated on the covered table.

He puts me in a headlock and I squirm, trying to get out of his 'powerful' grip. It doesn't take too much effort.

"You seriously need to stop, Jisung."

Jisung releases me and walks in front, blocking my view. "Stop what?"

"Being a little prick."

"Can I sit on you?"

"Excuse me?" my eyes slightly widen. "thought you wanted to be under me?"

"Oh, shush."

"You're unbelievable."
