"Everything okay?" a puny voice asks in a concerned tone.

"Mhm."

Haein hugs Hyewon from the side, both girls looking up at me. I watch them from the corner of my eyes, my head resting on the table using my arms as a pillow.

"Minho doesn't seem okay." Hyewon completes with a frown.

"Yeah, you should go home." says Hyunjin, who's been telling me that for two hours now.

It's past ten in the morning, Monday. Even though I could feel the migraine eating my brain when I woke up, I refused to stay home.

It's gotten a whole lot worse.

The screaming voices of children playing and having fun are irritating. They've always been.

Haein and Hyewon, instead of drawing or talking to each other, stay by my side, patting my back. I find it comforting.

They're truly angels.

"Minnie, Hannie will take care of you at home." Haeinnie mumbles, rubbing her cheek against me.

Of course the younger hasn't forgotten her second favourite. I don't think Jisung did either.

"It's alright."

The tall blonde chimes in again, sighing at my stubbornness. "shut up and go home. I bet your boyfriend misses you."

"He's not–" I raise my head and snap at him, immediately regretting it when a wave of pressure goes through my head. "fuck, forget it."

He smirks, looking at my messy face. I think I look more pale than ever.

Like a ghost.

In a quick motion, he picks his brand new phone out of his bag, searching for a number. Then, he calls someone.

Since I'm too tired and sick, I can't focus on only one thing, hearing both the laughter around and him talking on the phone, a serious expression on his face.

When he finishes, he pushes my own bag towards me. "go."

"What?"

"Changbin said you're off to leave."

"You didn't.." I narrow my eyes at him, both grateful and annoyed. Should I leave?

"You should go, Minnie."

With much reluctance, I finally come to the decision to go back to Jisung.

If I don't rest enough, I'll get sicker and it will be worse. That's what mum always told me.

So, I slowly stand up— and hold the table to avoid falling— then take my bag. It's heavy. My head feels heavy.

"Want me to call my mother to drive you home? she's free." Hyunjin suggests, to which I immediately disagree.
