"Man, the storm was earth-shaking!" Hyunjin exclaims with a sigh as he sits down at the table made of plastic. "I swear I thought it was the end of the world."

"Don't be dramatic. Sure, it was quite the disaster but nobody was injured."

"I was watching a horror movie and the sky decided to get revenge on someone right at a jumpscare."

"That's just unlucky." I chuckle, resting my head on the table.

Exhaustion is something I'm adapted to these days. It's like the most present feeling inside of me.

Headaches every day (even migraines sometimes), feeling the need to sleep but my body unable to shut down— especially at night— my muscles feeling like jelly, I get tired from a few steps, and I could go on.

Many different thoughts keep me up. On a good night, I get only five hours of sleep.

Not to mention Doongie who seems to be pretty active during those hours. He always bites my feet, scaring the living hell out of me.

Even Jisung is calmer. Dare I say he's the epitome of a baby.

Though, the only thing that can wake him up from 'death' are thunderstorms. I don't know why and how it happens. It might be some kind of trauma response.

He did say a thing or two without elaborating. I can't help but be curious about his past. About him.

What did he go through to be like this? In a way, he's more mature than me. But at the same time he has the mindset of a five year old.

The only answer would be that he had to grow up at a young age.

Anyway, I'd rather stay curious than ask him. I hate when people bring up my past, so I don't see why I should do that to someone else.

"You did it again, Minho."

"Huh?" I lift my head up.

"I mean passing out."

"I didn't pass out, what do you mean?"

"Sure looked like it." the blonde sighs, looking around at the kids playing together. "You seem exhausted."

"I am."

"Why don't you take a break, then? Like, from work."

"Took too many already. And I need money. Plus I enjoy being here. Kind of."

"Still, letting yourself rest for a few days won't do much damage. The opposite, actually."

He's right, and I hate that he is.

But how can I fail Changbin again? or Haein? she saw me leave once without any explanation.

'See you tomorrow, Hae.' was the biggest lie I had said.
