Upon waking up I go downstairs. There's nobody.

Though a letter catches my attention.

Minho,

I'm sorry for suddenly leaving! I forgot that I had to go somewhere with my parents. We can hang out again one day, if you'd like? I really enjoyed the evening with you! I'm proud of you, Minho, thank you.
I forgot to tell mother that I'll stay at yours and she got really scared :(
p.s.: I locked you and left the key under the rug!

With love,
Jeongin<3

He can be really cute. The brown eyed feels like my child sometimes. Even my mother said that.

Wait.

There's only one key. How am I supposed to leave the house to get the key if he locked me in? is he.. dumb?

A smile sculpts onto my lips. The boy really is silly. Once again, he showed me how foolish he can be. I can't believe he's my friend.

I go back upstairs in order to climb down the tree and unlock then enter my house through the front door. That's the only way I can get the keys back.

Usually, I use the window at night to sneak out so nobody can see me. It's morning, eight o'clock, people are definitely about to witness me falling from the rooftop.

Do I care? Slightly.

As expected, I climb down the tree with ease, even though I feel a bit scared.

Nobody sees me, that's amazing.

My feet stomp with force on the ground as I run fast and jump the fence, stumbling a bit at the landing. I tell myself that it's just because I woke up.

'Exercise more, Minho.'

His voice replies through my head like venom.

With a shaking heart I unlock the door, entering back inside.

"Doongie!" I shout for the cat to come down and eat his breakfast. He ate dinner quite early last night.

In a little grey bowl, I prepare the feline food. It's just enough for a kitten.

Then I start making something for myself. I put an egg to boil, look at the time and that's when I realize that it's eight.

My shift started.

"Shit!" I face-palm myself as I run upstairs, throwing some clothes on me. White shirt, blue jeans. The usual.
