We stop in front of a lovely decorated flower white shop.

The young lady's ears prick up at the bell ringing when I go through the light coloured wooden door. Jisung remains outside.

Soft string lights twinkle overhead, casting a gentle glow barely visible during this morning. The air is filled with the sweet scent of fresh flowers, creating a calming atmosphere.

As the smell of the blooms enters my nostrils, my brain instantly focuses on the one I can't forget.

My mother loved flowers. They've always been significant to her.

"Hello! what brings you here?" the florist asks with a smile that immediately drops when she faces me.

I'm not sure, but I might have seen her in school before. Her make up is familiar, even though I don't usually pay attention to that.

"I'd like two of each azalea, aster, and begonia flower seeds. Colour doesn't matter." I speak, looking at the scenery with walls adorned with rustic wooden shelves, showcasing an array of potted plants and bouquets. "and a bouquet of five cosmos flowers."

"A-Alright," she narrowly coughs. "coming right away."

She must be my age, if not younger. I don't know why she works here— probably for the same reason I work at the daycare.

Her nails look freshly done, long and painted pastel grey with black dots.

Soon the girl hands me what I asked for, making the total afterwards. I pay her and leave silently.

The sight I'm met with is definitely more beautiful than the inside of the store. Jisung is smelling each flower.

"Weirdo." I shake my head and drag him to walk by the back of his pink hoodie.

"What are those for?" he points at what I'm holding.

A light, invisible heat covers the slight acne scars on my cheeks at his question. How the hell do I approach this? maybe I shouldn't have gotten him anything.

Hyunjin's words enter my mind, out of nowhere, as if he's the angel everyone needs as a guide.

'From what you've told me, this guy of yours is deeply in love with you. He'd appreciate even a slap.' he said.

"You." I mumble.

"Huuuuh? I didn't quite catch that."

"I said, they're for your stupid dumbass, fucks sake."

"Oh my god!" he wraps his hands around my arm, happiness overflowing from him. "thank you, baby~" the sunny brown haired smiles.

"Whatever, take them." I hand him the beautiful bouquet of pink flowers wrapped in a cosmos looking foil tied by a pinkish bow. "and get the hell off of me."
