A few hours passed since the typhoon had begun.

Judging by the time shown on the screen, I think it should be past twelve o'clock. It's too blurry to be able to tell for sure though.

My vision has been getting worse and worse.

As the rain pours and the wind howls outside, Jisung and I find ourselves huddled together inside. The sound of thunder rings through the room, making Jisung jump with each loud crack.

There's no sign of this disaster stopping anytime soon, just like the news reporter said.

What a horrible weather. I wonder how I'll go tomorrow at work.

Talking about work, I need to sleep.

"Go to sleep already."

Jisung tries to nod, his wide eyes showing his lingering uneasiness.

The sound of rain pelting against the windows intensifies, creating an intense symphony of nature's power.

"I can't sleep, Minho."

Trying to calm him down is a lot more work than I thought it would be. He really is like a kid.

"Listen here," I sigh, lying on my back next to him. "don't think about the storm."

It's warm under the covers with him yet the closeness makes me want to dig my own grave.

Darkness swallows my bedroom whole and the only source of light is my laptop screen. Not for long, though, cause the power is still out which means I can't charge it.

Since it's placed somewhere in between us, it brightens Jisung's face.

He really is pretty. He's a pretty mess of a pain in the ass.

"Minho," he whispers, a bit unstable, once again.

"Hm?"

"Can you give me your hand for a bit?"

My eyebrow raises in curiosity on its own as I agree for some reason.

God, I wish I didn't.

He doesn't waste one second in lifting my arm and pulling down the sleeve of our matchy hoodies.

"What are you doing?"

"I think you don't need bandages anymore. It should have healed already." he begins undoing the white cloth, squinting his eyes to concentrate and see something.

Instinctively, I pull my arm away. His grip is tight.

"Just stay still."

Maybe he's trying to distract himself from the loud noises. Still, his body can't help but jolt.

When he fully uncovers my arm, Jisung stops. He says nothing.

Thanks to the lighting bolt, for around three seconds he sees what I've been trying so hard to hide.
