"But Mizuki!" You reached for Mizuki. "Don't go!" Tears formed in your eyes. Mizuki gently smiled at you. They crouched in front of of you and picked you up. "Alright, I guess you can come with me today!" Mizuki wiped away your tears in a comforting manner. "Yay!" You cheered, as if you didn't just cry.
Mizuki was walking with you in their arms and noticed a familiar shirt brown haired female. She was walking with Akito while he was carrying her shopping bags. The two noticed each other and jogged over, to Akito's annoyance.
"Ena! My little sibling and I are going to the library to get a book for my assignment. Wanna join us?" They grinned. "Yeah sure. I got nothing better to do." Ena said, completely dismissing Akito who was still annoyed for being used as a bag carrier. "That's it! I'm going home!" Akito grumbled as he started walking off with the bags still in his hands.
Mizuki chuckled while Ena just rolled her eyes. "Bye li'l brosef!" Ena and Mizuki entered a library with Mizuki still carrying you. Mizuki was looking around for a certain book for their school project until they accidentally bumped into someone.
"Ah- Mizuki?" A familiar voice asked. It was Mafuyu. Kanade was standing behind her while carrying a unknown book. "Oh hey Fuyu~!"Mizuki grinned as Ena just waved and smiled. They immediately looked down as they felt their younger sibling started to cling onto them tighter.
"Y/N are you alright?" Mizuki asked softly. Mafuyu just stared at you while saying nothing, accidentally creating an imitating aura; at least to you. Mizuki saw tears forming at the corners of your eyes and immediately became worried.
"Y/N what's wrong?!" You pointed a finger at Mafuyu. "She's scary..."
Mizuki didn't know whether to laugh or to be concerned. They just pat your head while sheepishly smiling. "Mafuyu's not scary. They're nice!" Mizuki decided to give you a little example by handing you over to Ena and hugging Mafuyu, squeezing her tightly. You started to cry for Mizuki, reaching out to them to try and get them to come back.
Mizuki sighed and walked back over to hold you. "Mafuyu, maybe you should do something to get Y/N to like you." Kanade spoke softly as she glanced at you. Mafuyu just slowly nodded and put on a little smile while trying to get you to calm down.
You sniffled and wiped your teary eyes as you stared into Mafuyu's. Mafuyu reached out to hold you while Mizuki grinned at the interaction between you two. As Mafuyu held you, you stopped crying and immediately clung to her.
"Aha! You two are so adorable!" Mizuki cooed. "Mafuyu, I'm not sure what you did but it seems to be working." Ena said as she stared at the scene, a little confused. Kanade stayed silent but pat your head.
Mafuyu stared at you before showing a genuine smile. "Cmon Y/N. We still need to get my book for my project." Mizuki called out and held out their hand for you to take. You grabbed onto your older sibling and glanced at the other three.
"Bye Y/N..." "Have fun you two!" They all waved goodbye as Mizuki started walking through the aisles of books. "Well that wasn't too bad, right Y/N?" Mizuki asked. You just replied by nodding your head and grabbing a random book.
