Mom starts to cry when she announced the color of the cake. Chrissy is all smiles and ringing her hands together. While Dad holds Mom and they smile so wide.
Nicolas's arms hold me close that no one is able to snatch me out of his grasps or away from him again. It makes me feel slightly overwhelmed with all the emotions that flow through me with everything going on. I hadn't had an issue with the hormones but now I feel stuck between wanting to laugh and cry at the same time, not sad cry but this just over abundance of happiness.
"Are you okay?" I lean over and whisper to Eve as she is just all smiles.
She sat next to us once Tony and Jack had moved.
"More than okay, this is all such marvelous news Natalie. I couldn't be happier for you and Bub honestly. Plus Hinsel will have a playmate and cousin so close in age they can be the best of friends growing up." She smiles wide then hugs me on the side since Nicolas still is refusing to let me move from his lap.
"Do we get a name?" Ophalia squeals when she moves to sit the other side of Eve. "Hollie and Jack wouldn't give us Eve's name early."
"That was because for the first little bit we wasn't hundred percent sure and then Nicolas helped pick her name." Jack chuckles.
Nicolas nods and smiles.
"Yes and I can only wish you don't go through a home birth like I had." Hollie shivers.
"Now that was exciting for me at least to know that my sister would be born in the house but I was more than happy to sleep through it to wake up excited to meet Eve." Nicolas laughs thinking over the memories.
"How I kept quiet enough is beyond me." Hollie huffs.
"Really though Mama hearing how I was born and the pains I experienced that is my question on how you could." Eve laughs.
"Not easy." Hollie laughs.
"My hand got the raw end of it." Jack chuckle.
"Isn't it a hand that helped make Eve?" Tony snickers picking on them.
"Name!" Ophalia laughs shaking her head at their teasing.
I look to Nicolas and he winks at me. "You tell them, you came up with the name and I just fell in love instantly."
"Our son will be named Chrisopher Jack Winters." Nicolas smiles and everyone awes over the name.
I see my Dad and Jack tear up as it must click for them. Nicolas wanted to have his Dads name involved and I agreed then he came up with the name which works even better because my Dads middle name is Chris. So Nicolas picked the name to have meaning to both our dads all while keeping it Chirstmas themed as it is a family trait for his family that works perfectly. Our son will carry family names and keeps to the special time of year we all love.
