What is in sane Christmas fruitcake am I doing?
I am as bad as a dog in heat. Maybe it is a dog with a bone? I don't know but I need to cool it and right now because there is no denying that my body is singing and humming all for this stud. It is not fair to him either being worked up and he can't hide it as well.
Taking my aim I go through the steps and release the ball watching it roll down the lane. Only one single pin is knocked down, I am rusty big time but it has been years and the fun of it is still there for sure. My second time letting the ball go down the lane it knocks a few more over but not all the pins went down.
"You may win this one especially if you do this a lot because I am rusty." I snicker taking a seat next to where he has sat watching me.
"I think we may be right at equal because this is one sport I never was good at now my sister she can bowl like nothing I ever seen." Nicolas laughs.
Bowling continues and we talk so much during the two full games. I have learned so much about Nicolas that one would never have known from only his medical records and it is so special that it feels I am getting to know him raw.
I would not have thought he was a writer and of childrens books. He can't choose a favorite color because they are all special to him in unique ways. He loves both of his parents cooking and will cook with either one of them in a heartbeat. I learn how his Dad meet his Mom now and what had happened to his birth Mom, now that pulled the heart strings so hard.
We laugh as I tell him it is hard for me to pick a color but I like white and blue. As for parents cooking, now my Dad used to make the absolute best gumbo ever it has been years since he made it for us.
"So any aunts and uncles?" I ask looking over to him after he had asked me the same. Which I don't have any aunts or uncles and my grandparents had passed away several years back.
"Yeah Aunt Jewels and Uncle Tony. Although there is also Aunt Massie and her husband but he was never really around much I thought my mom was a workaholic now Aunt Massie's husband will constantly take on extra shifts but fits for who Aunt Massie is too."
"Wait would she happen to be a doctor at the hospital?" I think back to the lady I literally just befriended today.
"Yup that she is. Her and Mom were friends through med school and externship type deal." Nicolas nods.
"We just recently started talking today and she was so nice. It was a thing of I didn't have any friends to just feeling comfortable with her in a heartbeat and we hit it off."
"That is Aunt Massie." Nicolas chuckles. "Aunt Jewels and Mom are just the same. All three of them together it is bubble energy central and including my sister, she got it naturally."
"It is nice though being so bubbly and welcoming." I smile and Nicolas agrees quickly.
"Would you like to order here and eat? If not we can go anywhere you may want to go." Nicolas holds his hand out for me to take.
