I finally was able to sleep after fighting my insomnia all night. The only downside was it lasted maybe two hours max. I was beyond exhausted and needed a five year long coma to recooperate again. My mother knocked on my door. "Breakfast will be ready in ten minutes."
I groaned in response and decided to cover myself up with my blanket until a buzz vibrated next to me. I peeked from the darkness surrounding me to turn on my homescreen. It was a text myself from the devil himself.
Malachi: "Morning cutie, wanna hang today?" 8:34 A.M.
I ignored his text but only last two minutes before I recieved another text.
Malachi: "I can see you open my messages. Did I upset you?" 8:36 A.M.
Luca: "No, just tired. Didn't sleep well last night. I was too horny." 8:37 A.M.
I was too distracted to realize what I said.
Malachi: "Come over then and I'll fix your problem. You can sleep with me afterwards." 8:40 A.M.
I blinked my eyes and reread my message immeditealy throwing my phone to the floor. Fuck fuck fuck.
I struggled to get out of bed and quickly thrown on a sweater and shorts. I paused as I reached my door and forgot the hickies on my thighs. "Shit."
I instead put on some grey sweats and rushed downstairs. My father was reading the morning newspaper while mom was making homemade orange juice. "Morning." I took a seat at the table. "Morning baby. I made your favorite pancakes." They looked soo yummy as I begun to dig in and eat my food. "Oh son, don't forget we are going to be leaving tonight for a out to business meeting. Your mother made a list of chores that need done by the time we get back. Also your brother is coming to town tonight so he will watch you for the next few days." My father took a sip of his coffee and glanced my way, raising an eyebrow.
"I can watch myself dad. I don't need Mitchell to take care of me. I am sixteen afterall and I can do chores no problem."
"Still too young to be alone. By the way; why are you wearing sweatpants in eighty degree weather?"
I panicked for a second as I coughed. "Oh um, I need to wash my clothes so this was the only thing I found clean. I'll get to it after breakfast.."
He gave me a smile before going back to his reading. Mother was watching me closely as she sat down at the table. She knew the real answer but wasn't ready for the drama that would come from the truth. My father would be more than pissed at me but devastated that my mother never told him.
After breakfast I made my way upstairs and gathered up clothes to wash. I even managed to pick up my room so they didn't have a reason to complain of my living status. I normally kept my room neat with a few water bottles here and there. My painting supplies took up a corner of my room so that was the only dirty and messy area. I walked back downstairs and heard a familiar voice call out. "Yo is that my baby bro?!"
I rolled my eyes and walked into the laundry room , immediately tossing my clothes into the washer. "Hey? Got cotton in your ears? What's up?!"
I ignored him once more until he tugged on my arm and hugged me. "Mitch let go!"
I forced myself to enjoy these moments with him. "Sorry, haven't seen ya in a while. How ya been?"
I sighed. "Been fine. You?"He chuckled. "College is a blast but I need a break from all the ladies. Thankfully mom and pop are cool with me chilling here."
I pushed past him so I could continue my chores. "Listen Luca , I know we didn't end well on good terms last time but I'm willing to push past it and make amends."
"Mitch I could care less honestly. You always managed to make my life hell until you moved. You made fun of me and blamed me for all your messes. So no I'm not making amends. Just leave me alone and I'll leave you alone."
"Luca, I'm sorry I made your life hell."
I paused as I tossed the rag I was using to clean up the kitchen. "You aren't sorry because you say that all the time but never actually mean it."
"I do mean it this time bro. Come on, I'm gonna be throwing a party tonight and I need you on my side."
I glared at him hard thinking that our parents entrusted him to not do this kind of shit. "What?!"
"Kidding. But I may have a few friends over and I'd like for you to not be here."
He leaned against the entrance of the kitchen. "Fine. I'll leave. As long as it gets me away from you."
"Deal and you don't tell mom and dad about this."
"Deal. Now leave me alone."
Thankfully he did such and I was able to finish my chores. I sat down on my bed and pulled out my cell phone and dailed Malachi's number.
It rang a few times before his deep voice pulled me in. "Hey. What's up?""I have a question to ask."
"Okay? What's the question and I may have an answer."
"Can I stay with you tonight?"
A few minutes of silence filled the room as I waited for him to say no.
"Of course, you should come now."
I smiled in excitement as I told him I would before hanging up. I immediately grabbed a bag and stuffed it with another set of clothes and other basic stuff like a toothbrush and hairbrush. I snuck downstairs so I could avoid my brother but was stopped as he walked through the front door. "Where you going?""Friend's house to stay over. I'll be back in the morning."
"Okay, be safe and don't do anything I wouldn't do."
I groaned and made my way to my car. I tossed my bag into the passenger seat and drove a few blocks down. I parked my car in his driveway and grabbed my bag. Michelle was outside recording dance videos with a few friends. She smiled and waved in my direction before continuing. I opened the door and was greeted with a pair of amazing lips. Malachi wasted no idea as he had his hands all over my body, our tongues dancing in our mouths.
I pushed him off gently so I could breath properly. "H....hey."
"Hey baby boy. I missed you."Those intense tingling sensations in my stomach grew more. "What would you like to do?"
Malachi smirked and took ahold of my hand, dragging us upstairs. We made it to his room, stopping in front of his door. "I have truly missed you."
"I missed you too."
The door flew open as our lips met once more. Only this time our clothes came off as well.
