The next morning, I had stared at the ceiling. Just like I did the rest of the night. I couldn't stop thinking about what I had done to Micah. I slid out of bed and quicky got dressed for the day. Sliding on a denim pants and an oversized black sweater. I slicked my hair back into a bun that sat perfectly on my head. My hair had grown so much the last few weeks, and I never had time to get it cut. Malachi was already stirring in his sleep when I rushed out of the room to grab breakfast before work. I avoided everyone, including Michelle who was giggling over a conversation on her cell phone. She attempted to make words with me but knew I didn't feel like talking. I gathered an orange and a water bottle before heading outside. My car was in the shop still, which meant I had to walk to work. A whole four miles that I honestly didn't want to walk but the weather was nice out, so it wasn't too bad.

Arriving to work felt like I ran a whole marathon, and my feet were killing me. Angie was at the front counter working on her sketches when I peeked inside. She perked up from her spot and gave me a wholesome smile. "Good morning Luca."

"Good morning Angie. How is work this morning?"

"Oh the same old, just a few customers that wanted us to fix their purchases from a time ago."

I let out a soft chuckle and set my bag down on the other side of the counter before clocking in. Angie moved her items and offered me a seat at the register. "Would you like anything? I'm going to make a coffee run. "

I shook my head and smiled at her to show I was okay before she gathered her purse and left. I leaned against the frame of the counter and sighed as I stared at the clock tick away the seconds.

After a few hours of boring restock and taking care of in house customers, I took a seat in the kitchen and ate a granola bar and chips that were for the staff. I kept to myself until Angie walked in and asked for me to come up front. I set down my food and immediately followed after her to see a gentlemen who was turned away talking to Lisa. That was until it was Micah who was talking to her. I stopped in my tracks and felt my face go bright red in embarrassment. Micah faced me and walked up, grabbing a hold of my hand and leading us outside for a moment. "How have you been Luca?"

"Better."

"I've been meaning to talk to you about us and it's been heavy on my mind." Micah had us sit down on a bench before he continued to speak. "I know that you cheated but I also know you werent sober when it happened. I didn't give you much of a choice to talk to me about it."

"Micah...I'm so sorry for how I cheated..I don't deserve to be forgiven but I do want you to know that I trust you and I care about you deeply. Malachi just rushed into my life and toys with my emotions and I don't know how to let him go. He says he loves me but doesn't understand the meaning of love. Hell I don't even know."

Micah sighed in relief almost. His face softened and he grabbed my hands. "You need to tell him that. Whether he wants to accept it or not. He needs to know."

"How do I tell someone that though?" I shook my head trying to come up with a reasonable amount of scenarios that could go wrong. Micah leaned forward and massaged his hand with his. "There is something I've been meaning to tell you Luca. Promise you won't laugh."

"I promise?"

"I still love you but I want you to be comfortable with the idea of possibly being with both of us. If Malachi is okay with sharing? I read online after we broke up and I'm trying to figure out my sexuality and what I like." Micah let go of my hands and pulled out a piece of paper that had of multiple partners. "I read through this and most relationships last longer than normal straight or homosexual relations."

"Micah?..I wouldn't know the first step of even asking Malachi. Plus I don't think he would be willing to share. He would get too aggressive."

"Don't hurt to ask and see Luca."

I leaned back and nearly fell off the bench when Micah caught me and pulled me in for a tender kiss. For some odd reason, it made my heart flutter.
