A dark Porsche was driving on the side of a mountain as it rained from the night sky. There was only one man inside in a black and white suit. He had an expensive watch, expensive clothes, an expensive style. He was the most famous neurosurgeon in the world. This man's name... was Stephen Strange.

His phone began to ring and he looked down at it for a second to see who it was. Thomas Elliot, one of the doctors he works with. He tapped on the screen, answering the call, "Tommy." he greeted cheerfully. "Might wanna make this quick. I'm in a rush to a very big party hosted by Bruce Wayne, so what've you got for me?" he asked.

"I've got a 35-year-old Air Force Colonel that crushed his lower spine in some experimental armor. Mid-thoracic burst fracture." Thomas told him.

"See, well, I could help, but so could 50 other people, including you. Find me something worth my time." he replied.

Thomas sighed, "I have a 68-year-old female with an advanced brain stem glioma." he suggested.

Stephen checked himself out in his rearview mirror, "Oh, sure, you want me to screw up my perfect record? Heck no." he sarcastically asked.

"How about a 22 year old female with an electronic implant in her brain to control schizophrenia struck by lightning?" Thomas then suggested.

Now THAT caught his interest, "That's sounds interesting." He said before he began driving around a car in front of him. "Could you send me the-" The pictures were immediately sent through by Thomas, who already knew what he was going to ask. Stephen looked down at the pictures, seeing 2 X-ray scans of a head, "Got it." he said.

He looked back in front of him and back at the phone repeatedly. Suddenly... his car shifted and he crashed into the car beside him, causing him to swerve out of the way and hit a street light. He then ricocheted off the mountain on his side and off the mountain. His car spun and swerved as it crashed down the mountain with him inside.

It finally came to an end when he crashed at the bottom near a river with his car upside down, head first. His face was beaten and bruised as he could barely keep his eyes open any longer. He was about to go unconscious when suddenly, a bright light appeared...

A bright yellow light.

"Help..." Was all Stephen could utter.

He couldn't see who it was, but he knew there was someone there. The man then came into view when he crouched as looked through the window to see Stephen. He had a helmet... a GOLDEN helmet.

The man then spoke in a powerful tone, "You do now need to worry, Stephen Strange... FATE is far from done with you..." the man spoke.

Stephen finally went unconscious... Little did he know... This would spark a series of events that would make him very different than the man he is now...

Mount Justice; August 19th; 19: 39 EDT

"Initiate combat training." The A.I. voice spoke as Kaldur and Superboy were slowly walking to each other from opposite side of the Training Circle. Artemis, Wally, and M'gann were all watching them training. Peter, in the meantime, was walking on the side of the wall, up-and-down, as he was on the phone with someone. he was clearly stressed. "3." The 2 began to circle each other. "2." They got closer. "1."

Both charged at each other. Superboy went in for a right hook punch, which Aqualad ducked right under. He retaliated with a left-right one-two combo. Superboy blocked his attacks before Kaldur jumped and went on for a hook kick. Superboy, with his hands raised, ducked under it. As Kaldur landed, Superboy tried to go in for another right hook, but Kaldur dived back into a back handspring, landing in a crouch.
