Metropolis; October 1; 08:08 EDT

Deep in the city of Metropolis, it was the same as every other day. Chopper flew over the high-rise buildings as cars moved down the road through the busy and bustling traffic. 

A woman walking with her dog stopped when the ground began shaking under her feet. Suddenly, the ground split in front of her and the dog barked as a plant rose out and grew larger.

The people were filled with panic. They ran, whether it was from building or their cars. The plant extended as high as the buildings and as wide as the road it rose from. Suddenly 3 red spikes came out, opening to form gigantic flowers that quickly grab a police car and throw it into a building. Another quickly did the same. The third flower went after the woman that was still at the base of the plant, but slammed into the concrete as she ran away. It pulled hard against the concrete, but instead of pulling up, the plant fell down.

The large plant stretched almost a whole city block and continued to wreck havoc on the city...

Mount Justice; October 1, 18:13 EDT

Kaldur and Robin were fighting hand-to-hand on the training deck with both of them in their casual outfits instead of their costumes. Robin came in with a kick aimed at Kaldur's shoulder height. The Atlantean dodged, gaining 8 points in comparison to Robin's 4 points for his attack.

The Boy Wonder quickly turned as soon as he touches the ground, getting close to Kaldur, and going in for a right punch that Kaldur blocked. Both of them gain 4pts for that, but Kaldur already had his right hand raised and went in for a cross that Robin ducked under, and he sent in another, but Robin quickly jumped into a back-handspring. Kaldur gained 14 points for his combo while Robin got 10 points for his dodge and it's x2 the second his hands touched the ground.

Kaldur quickly followed him, while both Zatara and Shazam watched. Shazam was eating a bar. Both men watched with smiles on their faces.

As Kaldur got in close, he tried to land a left-handed punch, but Robin blocked and tried to palm-heel strike, but Kaldur also did his own back-handspring to made distance. Robin got 8 points for his block while Kaldur got 9 points for his combo. Robin finished his combination with a front kick to get himself 5 more points and to move closer to Kaldur.

As M'gann, Conner, and Wolf approached the area, the floor light turned off and both of the fighting heroes relaxed and agreed to finish later. The two aliens stepped off to the side, smiling at each other.

"You know they're a couple, right?" Robin asked quietly to Kaldur.

Kaldur smiled. "I believe I knew before they did. Peter did as well."

A couple more sets of footsteps approached from opposite directions; the two turned to see Wally and Rogue walk in on his side while Peter walked in with Artemis on both his sides walking in. Rogue clearly looked like she was annoyed as Wally spoke with her while Peer and Artemis were laughing together,

"Do we tell him?" The Boy Wonder asked Kaldur, referring to Wally if they should tell him about Conner and M'gann's secret relationship.

"It's not our place." Kaldur said strongly.

Both dropped the topic when they began hearing Rogue speaking to Wally, "Alrigh', Wally! You best pay attention now!" She spun to face him and held her finger up at him, gaining everyone's attention, "I like ya, Wall. Truly, I do. But not in that way! So if ya try flirtin' with me again..." She pulled off her gloves, "I'm gonna give ya one heck of a nasty hangover."

Wally simply looked like he was more in love and sighed, "Whatever you say, babe." he said, almost transe-like.

Rogue groaned angrily and loudly then stormed off to Peter's side and crossed her arms. Peter laugh a bit, "You alright?" he asked.
