Artemis and Black Cat sprinted past Zatanna, who quickly turned, extending her hand toward Harm. "Erif nrub, nordlauc elbbub!" she chanted. Flames burst forth in front of them, forming a circle around Harm and connecting behind him with a booming sound.

As they bolted down the alley, Artemis glanced back. "Nice."

"Something I've been practicing since Red Vol–" Zatanna began.

Artemis interrupted, "Wait! Who's that?"

At the end of the alley, a girl appeared, motioning for them to follow before disappearing around the corner.

"I doubt THAT'S what we should be worrying about right now, is it?" Black Cat replied.

"No," Artemis replied curtly.

The three slowed to a stop as the alley came to a dead end. "Dead end," Zatanna panted.

"Not for me." Black Cat said before sinking her claws into the wall and climbing up it.

Artemis stared at her with clear venom, "That little-"

"Where'd the girl go?" Zatanna questioned, turning when the metallic clank of a fire escape ladder echoed beside her.

The ladder had been lowered, providing a way up. On the rooftop above, the cloaked girl stood, watching them.

"I like her already," Zatanna remarked with a grin.

They climbed up quickly, grunting as they pulled themselves over the edge of the roof. The girl stood in the center, her hair tied back with a purple headband, and a necklace that matched the metallic trim of her cloak glinted around her neck. Black Cat stood beside her with her hand on her hip. She rolled her eyes when she saw them alive and well.

"Thanks for the assist, Cat." Artemis said sarcastically, making Cat simply smirk.

"Thank you for the help, but who are you?" Zatanna asked the girl as they approached.

Now that they were closer, they could see her features in the dim light. Her eyes appeared almost as washed-out as her pale clothes, with a faint greenish hue. Her dark brown eyebrows contrasted sharply against her ghostly skin. The brass-colored circle at the center of her necklace contained a simple silver plate.

"Secret," she whispered.

"That won't cut it," Artemis snapped. "We need answers. Do you know Harm? Does he have any weaknesses?"

"Secret," she hissed again, pointing past them.

"Gotta be kidding me." Cat said when she saw what was behind them.

Artemis and Zatanna spun around to see Harm landing on the edge of the roof.

"At least they make the hunt interesting," he admitted, the arm sheath now strapped to his back as he swung his sword in front of him.

"Remind me of Kraven all over again." Cat uttered to herself as she walked up beside the heroes.

"He's fast, I'll give him that," Artemis muttered. She quickly drew an arrow from her quiver and shot it at the wooden water tower, splintering it open.

Zatanna followed up instantly. "Dloc snow wolb! Dloc snow wolb! Dloc snow wolb!" she chanted, causing the water to freeze around Harm.

The mark on Harm's chest began to glow, and his sword mirrored the light. With a single move, he shattered the ice encasing him. He struck at the now-empty water tower as Artemis, bLack Cat and Zatanna took off running again.

"Where'd little Miss Secret go?" Artemis called out.

"There!" Cat pointed two rooftops away.

The building the girl was on was significantly lower than theirs. "Alright, these boots are cute, but not for a chase... Lacitcarp raewtoof won!"
