Inside, Conner looked up amongst the rubble at the mostly intact statue of Superman.

"They're really gone." Robin mumbled barely turning to Kaldur. Kaldur couldn't stop staring at his friend, who had been silent since the Artemis incident and stood in the center of the room, staring at the rubble of a hero. Robin noticed Kaldur looking at him, "Has he spoken yet?"

"Not a word since... Artemis." Kaldur answered. He walked up to Spider-Man, who's back faced him, along with Robin. Kaldur reached to put a hand on Spider-Man's shoulder.

Spider-Man quickly spun around before Kaldur could even do that, giving the 2 heroes a little jump. "What." He questioned.

"We just wanted to see if you were alright." Robin told him. Spider-Man simply stared at him with emotionless eyes.

"Now... why on earth would I be okay?" Spider-Man pushed past the 2, almost making Robin stumble over.

Conner watched as M'gann floated by him and eventually stopped before the fallen top of her Uncle's statue. Sobbing.

Spider-Man's senses activated at he snapped his head towards the Martian Manhunter statue.

Suddenly M'gann's eyes snapped open and she backed away from the statue, lifting it.

It was...

Martian Manhunter beneath the rubble!

"Uncle J'onn!" she cheered, then tossed the top quarter of the statue away. She went back towards him but Kaldur got in her way. "M'gann, check his mind. Make sure he is whom he appears to be.

"It's him. He's real. And he's alive." M'gann assured.

"But we saw you get disintegrated." Conner contradicted and accused as Spider-Man stepped up beside him, crossing his arms. "You and Superman. And everyone."

M'gann helped her uncle to his feet. "Yes, I remember. But ... I cannot remember how I survived ... or how I arrived here."

"Maybe you were density-shifting and the beam passed right through you." M'gann offered.

"Scrambling your brains along the way." Robin piped up.

"My mind is clouded. I feel certain I had something important to tell you." Manhunter admited.

Wally smiles. "Hello, Wally," he even hit his head like M'gann normally does. "Come on.

Robin turned towards him with an arched eyebrow.

Later,

The two stood atop a Jeep, while Robin had his HoloGlove turned on as they looked at the acquired weapon.

"I knew it! Look." he pointed out one reading on Robin's Holo. "It's giving off Zanopenes. The same stuff that powers our Zeta-Tubes." he lifted his goggles as he smiled brightly. "This thing doesn't disintegrate, it- it teleports." he tugged on Robin's arm. "Artemis is alive!

"Maybe, but-" Robin frowned as he continued to look it over.

"No maybes. They're all alive.

Spider-Man gave no say, but Kaldur could tell from his lenses that he was hopeful again.

"That must have been what you wanted to tell us." M'gann said brightly. Manhunter brought his hand to his face again, Kaldur and Conner looked on in worry.

More ships came their way, firing at Kid Flash, Spider-Man and Robin."We're on our way." Aqualad quickly said.

"Negative. We can't win this. Miss Martian, camo the Bio Ship and-"
