(Based off of George's real height but I couldn't find sapnaps 😭)

/\ ~ George's POV ~ /\

I had just met up with Sapnap, to go and live with Dream forever.
See me and Dream had been long distant for about two months, and now I finally had a visa.

"I wonder why Dream couldn't come and pick us up. You think somethings wrong?"

"I don't know, does he usually tell you when stuffs wrong?"

"No. He just kinda deals with it."

We entered the taxi and told the driver the address. We Sat in silence, not wanting to talk about personal issues in front of a stranger.

/\ ~ when they got to the house ~ /\

I knocked on the door, sapnap waiting behind me. It took a minute for dream to answer so I knocked again. He eventually came to the door, looking down, not enough that we couldn't see his crimson face. Fact is we had to look down to see his face. Dream was- short? What? He was at least 5'5 even though he had said he was 6'2-6'3.

"Don't laugh.. please? I'm sorry for not telling you I just got embarrassed.."

I just stood there and stared down at Dream. I thought on what to say next.

"It's- fine Dream. I get it. You can get embarrassed by stuff. Why don't we just get unpacked?"

He nodded still staring down at the floor. I know Sapnap had stifled a laugh when Dream first answered the door. And I know how insecure Dream can get so I know he is upset. I'll talk to him about it later.

/\ ~ Later ~ /\

I knocked on Dreams bedroom door, it had been hours since me and Sapnap had got here and I knew Dream was still upset. He was embarrassed because of his height compared to mine and Sapnap's. He was embarrassed that he couldn't properly reach things, having to stand on his tip-toes.

(Idk why I put that in- a bit of humour with your angst-)

"Love can I come in? I just want to check on you."

I stepped back from the door, as it slowly opened. Dream stood there at the door, looking down like he did when we first got here.

"Can I come in?"

He nodded slowly and opened the door fully, allowing me to walk in. I sat down on his bed, pulling him to sit on my lap carefully.

"Talk to me love."

"I just- thought it was embarrassing that I was this short. I'm sorry I didn't mean to make anything awkward I just-"

"Hey it's fine babe.."

He smiled and lay his head against my shoulder. We sat there for a while and talked, talked about us, about our lives, our future, until eventually Dream fell asleep in my arms.
