A blonde and brunette.

A likely pairing.

You see it all the time.

But what if the blonde was a fairy hybrid and the brunette was a dragon hybrid?

Would that change anything?

The blonde, being called Dream or Clay, was the fairy hybrid;

The actual name Clay being a last piece of his old village and family that he was taken from by the age of around seven.
The nickname Dream being from the sort of- training area that the boy had been basically raised in, having the name from his best friend Karl.

Dream was taken at the age of seven for a reason he never understood, but was taken into the care of a fairy experiment programme. The programme was where he made his first friend, Karl. The people running the programme were rude and disrespectful towards Dream mainly, for again an unknown reason.

He had green eyes, matching with his green scaly antennas and his long half transparent wings that lay folded against his back. He also had long pointed ears with a shade of white at the end.

His boyfriend George, was a dragon breed.

The two got along great, both being completely in love.

George had no nickname, and grew up in a cave with his mother. His mother was extremely protective and only let the brunette go outside when she knew it was completely safe.

George's features of his dragon tendencies were extremely contrasting with his boyfriends' features.

The brunette was taller than his boyfriend, and had spiky horns instead of ears and non-transparent wings. The wings that sat on the brunettes back were layered with spikes, as well as a tail that usually swayed from side to side when George was around Dream.

The tail, wings and horns were mainly a combination of light to dark blue, slowly turning to a black colour.

It was a feature that the brunette's boyfriend loved- his always playing with the areas around his horns and wings, knowing to not touch his tail unless absolutely necessary.

Currently me and my boyfriend George were running through a massive flower field near our cave. We both had different backgrounds of life so we just decided to go with George's living area idea- I dunno.

"DREAMM!"

I looked back over and saw George leapt onto me from behind me, grabbing my waist before quickly turning around to fall onto his back.

"George!"

"What baby? I'm just having fun.."

I nuzzled my head into George's shoulder, being careful to not whack my ears against anything since they were extremely sensitive.

"Aw baby. Are you tired?"

I nodded into his shoulder as he rubbed the back of my neck softly and kissed my head gently.

"It's ok baby.. I understand because we've been busy all day. Do you wanna go back or stay here?"

"Stay here."

My speech was muffled, me not wanting to move my head away from where it lay. I didn't want to leave as I was extremely comfortable and I was too tired to move anyway.

We both lay there for a while, just taking in each other's presence. After a while, I could feel George's wings wrap around my small body making me feel more safe; me always enjoying the warmth of the air that became trapped.
