Blind Dream AU
Blind person: unable to see because of injury, disease, or a congenital condition.
Dream was born blind btw

//- Third Person -\\
George and Dream wandered around the grocery store, trying to find something that George had been talking about for a long time. Dream was holding onto the side of the shopping cart as George pushed it around.
"Love, are you sure you don't want to push the cart?"
"No. I'm ok."
"Ok my love, we're almost done now."
Eventually, George saw the thing he had been looking for, and told Dream to wait by the shopping cart. Dream stood with the cart idly, not knowing where George had gone until he heard his voice from a certain direction.
"Excuse me. Could you move please?"
"Oh- of course. Sorry."
Dream moved the cart, even though he was unable to tell what direction he intended to move it. He automatically assumed he moved the cart in the wrong direction, as the handle was immediately shoved into his gut.
"Are you fucking stupid!? You can very clearly tell I'm right here!"
"Oh I'm sorry ma'am- you see I'm acta-"
"Dream? My love what's wrong?"
Dream turned to where George's voice had come from, and began to stutter and stumble over his words to explain what had happened.
"He! Just shoved his cart into me, even though he could very clearly see me!"
"Ma'am, my boyfriend is blind. He relies on his hearing and people's clear speaking when i am not with him. Did you specify where you wanted him to move?"
"Well. NO. But he should be able to hear me. Or is he deaf as well?"
When George heard that come out of the woman's mouth, he wanted to slap the hair off of her head. George knew that Dream had been bullied his whole life for being blind, which wasn't fair.
"Ma'am. There is no reason to say that. It was a small mistake. You are not severely injured, or even injured at all, so please just walk away."
George spoke through gritted teeth, giving the lady a menacing glare as if to watch what she says next. Dream moved his hand around, trying to grab Georges. When he found George's hand, he intertwined their fingers.
"No i will not walk away. He deserves repercussions for his actions!"
"George.. Let's just leave.."
"But love.."
George looked at Dream and then glared back at the lady. He squeezed Dreams hand, and with his free hand flipped off the woman; grabbing the cart and walking away. The two paid for their items, before leaving the store and packing up their items in the boot of their car. George sat in the driver's seat, Dream in the front passengers seat.
"George.. 'm sorry about that lady.."
"Don't apologise! It's her fault, stupid lady."
"Thank you for helping me.. Let's just go home."
//- Third Person ~ When they got home -\\
"You wanna cuddle on the couch darling?"
Dream nodded, taking his shoes off and manouvering around the practically empty living room towards the couch. When Dream reached the couch, he fell forward slightly, as he always did. He could feel a weight beside him on the couch, knowing it was either George or his Golden retriever guide dog Smokey.
"It's me love."
"Oh! Sorry I didn't know if it was you or Smokey."
"That's fine love. Smokey's in his bed anyway."
Dream nodded, titling his head to where George was to be able to rest his head on George's shoulder. Dream could feel George rub his fingers against his arms.
"Dream.. you need to stand up to people more.. people like that woman can't be saying that!"
"It's fine, I'm used to people saying stuff like that.."
"Yeah but that's not fair. People shouldn't be saying stuff about you anyway, you shouldn't have to put up with any of that."
"Sorry.. I'll try to stand up for myself more."
Dream smiled and called Smokey to him, so that the three could sit on the couch together. Smokey rested his head on Dreams lap, as George held Dream in his arms.
