Dream was known for overworking himself, like- a lot.
And to this day only one person could stop him from getting himself hurt because of it.
George.
(His mother as well but we'll let George have this-)
And- recently the younger of the two had locked himself in his room to get some editing done. He was editing a video for his main channel, which was going to explain all of the recent (and old) allegations against him.
It also included old images of him when he hadn't lost loads of weight yet. He didn't mind the pictures, or the fact of being overweight. It was just the feeling of remembering people showing up at your house and everything.
He didn't mean to, but he was shutting out his boyfriend George (who he currently lived with). George was trying to stop Dream from overworking himself, having no avail.
"Dream?"
He walked into Dreams room and stood at his chair, rubbing his shoulder gently. Even with the cautious and gentle action, Dream jumped up in fear and turned to face George.
"Oh George. It's just you."
George frowned and nodded, grabbing Dreams hand away from his keyboard. Dream looked up at George and was pulled up from his chair. The two hugged as George picked Dream up, making him squeak in surprise.
George carried Dream away from his desk, even with Dreams hoarsely yelled protests. George carried Dream into the living room/ lounge, where he had set up a table full of snacks and some films.
Christmas films. Obviously.
"George?"
"You've been spending too much time at your desk baby, you need to rest."
Dream scoffed and nuzzled his head into George's shoulder, since he was still holding him. The two made their way to the couch and sat down, George rubbing Dreams back softly.
George cupped Dreams cheek and kissed him softly, rubbing his cheek with his thumb. The two shared many softly, short lived kisses as they watched some Christmas movies.
