The Elf Curse

Being a small elf sized human does and doesn't have its perks.

Perks:

•People can't attack me
•people can't see me

That's it-

Cons:

• Can't talk to people
• It gets lonely
• My friends have given up on finding me.
• I've been like this for a year

The list goes on. Basically the perks definitely do not out weigh the cons. I sighed as I walked along the massive path, it feeling longer since i was small.

You may be wondering why I said I've been like this for a year. You see just last year I was human, still elf like but the size and height of an average human. But I stumbled upon a mage, who is stronger than a wizard. He cursed me for stumbling into his territory.

I had been travelling for a whole year, just trying to find someone to could help me. With no luck I just wandered, hoping that it would wear off soon.

Suddenly some wizard walked along the path, stopping on a small tree stump. I jumped and hid behind a mushroom since I could fit behind it. But- unlucky for me the wizard picked up the mushroom that I hid behind. I tried to scramble away but his grip on the mushroom was extremely tight.
I was shoved into his bag, not being able to say anything since he probably wouldn't hear me anyway.

//- At George's hut -\\

The wizard dumped the contents of his bag onto a wooden table, only just realising that I was there. The wizard gasped and took a step back. 

"Uh- hello..?"

"Hi.."

My voice squeaked, unable to speak any clearer or louder. He blinked at me, obviously not hearing what I said. He huffed and looked around his small hut- he realised he could be able to break the spell.

I watched as the brunette wizard ran around his hut, presumably trying to find ingredients for a potion. After about ten minutes he finished and gave me a small bowl of potion. It took bit of manoeuvring and effort to drink it all.

"I don't know if you can hear me or whatever.. but the potion should work when you go to sleep. You can stay here.."

I nodded, even though he couldn't see. I decided to sleep now so that I could turn back faster.

//- George ~ When Dream woke up -\\

I watched as the small elf man slept. He was slowly growing so I quickly moved him into my bed.
As the man grew his features became more and more clear.

He had fluffy golden blonde hair, long black eyelashes, freckles dotted all across his cheeks and pointy elf ears and pink lips.
I blushed as the man stopped growing and began to stir in his sleep.

"Mhmm.. hello..?"

"Hi.. you're uh- you're back to normal now."

"Oh- thanks.. I'm Clay or Dream.."

"I'm George.. if you don't mind me asking what happened?"

"Some random mage cursed me for walking into his territory- and none of my friends could see or hear me so they all assumed I just died or something."

I hummed, nodding gently.

"Well- your welcome to stay here. You can be my friend?"

"Thanks.."

Clay smiled at me softly, he had a beautiful smile.. and gorgeous eyes.
I smiled back at him and allowed him to stay in my house, being (in my opinion) the best wizard and elf duo.
