It only took ten minutes to swing Mary Jane home to her apartment - all the while, he gave her a brief explanation of what was going on regarding Walter Hardy and why it had been so urgent for him to leave the party as soon as possible. Mary Jane understood, and stated that at least he had been able to enjoy a large portion of his birthday party.

She was so considerate of every aspect of his life, always accepting the fact that he had responsibilities to uphold.

A sputtering laugh escaped from her throat as she pushed at his chest. "Go. You're on a time-crunch."

"Wait-" Peter protested before he willed a part of the nanites to retract just enough so that the bottom part of his face was no longer covered. Then he stepped right into her personal space and wrapped his arms around her waist, tugging her close so that her body was flush with his, before he whispered, "One last kiss..."

Then, he planted his lips against hers, the kiss was sweet, tender - but also with an air of promise, leaving him on the cusp of begging for more.

But there was no time...
