'Then what am I?" I tease
"Nandini you are special to me, you aren't some random chick I am bringing with me. You are the sweetest little angel, and yeah I may not be labeling us right now but I will the second you ask me to" he says shocking me a little
"You would?" I ask
"Yes, tell me you wanna know what you are for me and I will give you that right now" he wasn't joking, he was damn serious
"Shh focus on the road" I mumble but I will ask him tonight when we both get home from this party
He snakes his hand over to my hand intertwining his fingers with mine as I tighten the hold. His hands are huge but the way his fingers line up and fit against mine is perfect. I love it!
i know exactly what he feels and I know exactly what I feel. I remember thinking we are going feet in first but that was a god damn lie bigger than my height because Manik and I just face planted into the water but neither one of us are unhappy about it.
"Hey where are you lost?" He asks making me look over at him
"Nothing, just thinking"
'About what?" He asks
"Nothing specific" I whisper
He glances over and I roll my eyes at him
"Did you just roll your eyes at me?" He asks making me giggle
"No" I lie
"Darling, you just rolled your eyes at me"
"Nope, you are seeing things"
"I am" he asks as we approach a red light
"Yes so many delusional things" I reply
He smirks looking at me as he pulls my chin to him using our intertwined hands
"You are so gorgeous" he whispers looking in my eyes
"You compliment me too much, I'm not that pretty" I mumble smiling at him
"You are, only if I could show you how I see you though my eyes. You are perfect!" He says pecking my nose
"Thank you" I whisper trying not to blush at his words
he laughs at my reply kissing my lips, he pulls back and continues to drive while my stomach was doing god damn flips. Every single time his hand touches mine or his lips land on mine I can't help but feel this tingle, this beautiful feeling in my heart
I have never felt such feelings before, I haven't even felt this tingle or the way my stomach behaves either. it's also not a honeymoon phase feeling, it's different, Manik and I joke around and we play around too, honestly it's like he is my soulmate
"How will the party be?" I ask as we got closer to the venue
"You remember the book event?"
"Yes"
"Somewhat like that, so mostly ceo's and other big brands will be walking around mingling to get deals unofficially of course and then there are a tons of authors there with their books, they won't be sitting like they were at the book event but there will be books on table that people can take kinda like a snack table" he explains
"Lots of romance books?" I asked him
"Yes, tons" he mumbles
"Will you stay close most of the time? I know you do have to mingle and talk to humans"
