"Manik" I whisper seeing him coming out of the bathroom

"Yes love?" He asks

"Can we go out for ice cream? My finger hurts" he chuckles hearing my excuse

"of course, come on" he says

I giggle jumping up and walking to him

"You know you could have just asked for ice cream, I would take you anyways"

"Yes but it's true my finger does hurt"

"Maybe ice cream can make it a little better, what do you think?" He asks

I nod jumping in his arms, he picks me up and carried me to his car.

"No I don't wanna sit there, I want to sit in your arms" I tell him

"Only if you don't pull on the belt" he says making me pout

This one time in Goa, I was sitting in his arms driving back from a restaurant and I pulled on the belt which got him upset because he didn't want me to remove the belt

"That was one time"

"Sweetheart, it's for your safety"

"I know"

He nods sitting with me in his arms, he buckles up and neither one of us said anything all the way tot he ice cream parlour.

"Stop" I whisper when he was about to open the door

"What's wrong?" He asks

"Manik please don't do this, I know I messed up and I promise you it won't happen again but please don't behave like this"

"Like what?"

"Like I am this fragile glass you can't voice anything out to. Yes I was raped multiple times, yes I was abused and yes I got therapy but the way you are behaving with me makes me feel broken"

He sighs leaning completely back in he seat

"I don't know how not to be angry Nandini, I am trying really hard not to find that fucker and kill him"

"It's over, I am right here in your arms, who cares where he is or what he is doing. I am in your arms, I am happy, I feel lighter, I feel at peace manik"

"I know baby, I cannot get that image out of my head, I don't ever wanna walk into something like that ever again"

he nods smiling at me

"I don't want you to think that now that I have told you all this, you can't kiss me or we can't fool around like we always do because we can and I am going to be very honest with you, every touch of yours makes my body light up wiht a shit ton of feelings and all good ones"

"You never felt uncomfortable right?" He asks

"No, are you crazy, I wanted to jump your bones, but you mr shy boyfriend won't even walk around shirtless as if I would you know"

he laughs throwing his head back making me smile, even in the dark, I could see how beautiful his smile is

"Yeah?"

"Yes sir" I whisper kissing his lips

"Oh that sounds kinky" he comments

"Right? Maybe It's time I tie you up and you know"

"Oh la la, do it. You don't even need permission little mouse, do it" he says making me giggle

"I saw it in a movie, she ties him up and and he breaks the bed but he was a vampire you know"
