Chapter 54

Nandini's pov

Groaning a little at the warmth on my face I try to turn away but Manik was holding onto me tight against his chest. I covered my face with my hands but by that point my sleep was already broken

I opened my eyes and saw the suns shining bright, we had forgotten to flip the curtains to black out the room but I am glad I woke up and not Manik because he needs his sleep.

i know last night he was so worried for me and I know it's my fault but I swear I tried not to freak out over the little thing but then as soon as Manik asked I just couldn't hold it anymore

I did see aryan, I am still not sure if it was my subconsciousness or if it was true but this hasn't happened in a long time, I wasn't even thinking about him but I can't get that image out of my head, I just cannot. I also know im safe with Manik and he wouldn't let anything happen so I am a bit more relaxed

Turning a little I lay on my back, Manik shifts closer to me, his face against my arm, he opens his eyes for a second to see why I had turned.

"Shh it's okay go back to sleep" I whisper kissing his head

He doesn't say anything, he just lays closer falling back a sleep as I rub his back.

my phone vibrates displaying navya's number, I pick it switching hands to rub manik's back with my left hand and picking up the phone with my right hand

"Hello" I whisper

"There is a problem and I need you to give me a solution" she says

"Okay whats the problem"

"I have been eating pineapple" she says

"You hate pineapple" I mumble

"Exactly and I missed my period, I have't gotten in in 3 months nandini. Not jus that, cabir and I have been at it for so long and I just can't get enough of him ahhh nandini something is wrong with me" she rambles

I could tell she was whispering in the bathroom because I could hear the shower running

"Nothing is wrong with you, just relax"

"I can't relax, what if something is wrong and what if"

"Relax, it's nothing. Mhm do one thing, come over after showering"

"But whats wrong with me?" She asked

"Nothing, just relax, everything is fine. Shower and tell cabir yo and I are going to go buys something and we will figure this out"

"Mhm okay but what about Manik?"

"I will think of that, just come over in like an hour okay"

"Okay" she mumbles cutting the call

I put my phone down just thinking about what's going on with her, she has been eating things she hates, no because the other day she offered me banana chips, she hates them and I hate them

I looked down at Manik to see him still sleeping peacefully and I genuinely didn't have the heart to wake him up but I had to.

"Mani" I whisper kissing his head

he stirs a little but doesn't wake up

"Manik it's wakey wakey time" I mumble pressing soft kisses on his face

"No"

"Remember the gala, we have to start getting up"

"No I don't wanna go anywhere", I wanna stay in bed with you" he says
