Chapter 36

Manik's pov

I watch as her eyes become watery as he throws the axe trying to aim, every axe she threw, the more tears ran down her cheeks. Yes, she had gotten therapy and yes she shared things but she never took it out, she didn't do anything to throw that anger out.

Her hands tremble as she picks up another axe throwing it, then another as I lean back and watch her. She wasn't looking at me, she wasn't even in this space right now, she was in her head. That pain she had been holding was coming out which is exactly what I wanted

she picks up another axe but the axe doesn't make it far because tears cover her eyes completely, she yanks the gloves of and turns around. I smile at her opening my arms for her.

With really heavy steps she walks into my arms sobbing, she was quietly sobbing in my arms, holding onto the back of my t shirt. I didn't stop her or ask her to quiet down, I wanted her to cry it all out.

"Sir she needs her gear on" the girl says coming in

"Out, and do not come in here" I say glaring at her

That was enough for her to leave

"He ruined me" she voices out

"He did not nandini, you are amazing and you are perfect. No one in this world can ruin you sweet girl"

"He did manik, he" she stammers

"No, you are my perfect little firefly, there are no faults baby. You are beautifully perfect" I whisper kissing her hair

"Thank you" she whispers a while later as her sobs turn into sniffles

"For?"

'For bringing me here and loving me. i feel lighter" she mumbles

"Yeah?" She hums rubbing her nose on my t shirt

"You are"

"Perfect" she finishes my sentence looking up at me

"I was going to say silly but yes you are perfect"

"I really like the plates and the glass thing in that room, the axe was nice too" she says

"Yeah? Did you wanna come again?" I ask

"Yes with you, we can also bring cabir and navya" she says and I nod

I move her hair out of her face and wipe her tears, her little button nose became red and shinny and her eyes were happy despite how much she cried.

"Nandini, we go through ups and downs, we go through good and bad, we go through a lot of things but you need to always remember that my love for you will never change, it will always be the same. I will always love you like I do now, I will always love your heart, your body, your features, you, I will always, always love you like I love you now, that never changes with age or any circumstance"

"Ditto" she says sniffling a little

"You never have to put this strong face up okay, you ca be vulnerable with me nandini" she nods hiding her face in my chest again

"Sir I really need you both to put gear on" I swear to god

"Listen, before I"

"Shh, we are sorry about that, we are jsut about done" nandini says

"Thank you ma'am" the girl says leaving as I glare at her

"Hey, stop scaring human specimen monster" she mumbles putting her gloves on and giving me mine

"Best of 3 handsome boy" she says winking at me

Thats exactly what we did, we had a game of best of 3 and this girl crushed me,  she hit them on perfect spot twice and I did only once, to be fair I was looking at her most of the time
