Chapter 43

It was around 7 in the evening when manik said he wanted some street food so him and I went outside and got some really yummy street food ,we walked around holding hands for a while  and then got back home.

"Manik" I call when he was brushing

"Yes"

"Can you put on some swimming trunks?" I ask

"Are we going swimming?" He asked

"Yes, meet me by the pool" I say

"Wait"

"No, meet me by the pool" I yell running to the pool

Manik's backyard had this private pool and usually we wouldn't even go out but knowing navya and cabir aren't even in the country, we could go there no questions asked or being scared of being seen

I had set up stuff for manik and I by the pool, I had snacks and a few small gifts there. I heard his voice, he was on the phone when he walks to the pool and my jaw drops so fucking far.

He was wearing black swimming trunks with some pattern but my eyes wouldn't stop staring at his chest, he has the most well toned body I have ever seen. He isn't too bulky or too lean, he has abs and not just 6, more, the lines of his abs weren't ingrained but so defined

My eyes move up as I gawk at him, I didn't even notice him looking at me because thats how lost I actually was in his body. the thoughts racing through my mind weren't innocent, lets just leave it at that. I notice the faded bite mark on his biceps making me giggle, it was from a bit ago when I bit him haha

"Eyes up here my love" his voice makes me look up

He wasn't on the phone anymore, his phone was in his pocket as he smirked looking at me, yup he caught me looking

"Why are we going swimming?" He asks

"Mhm what? Swimming?"

"You told me we are going swimming and to put on trunks, stop eye raping me and look up in my eyes" he says sitting down beside me

"Right eyes, mhm"

He laughs seeing how distracted I actually was but whatever

"As much as I love how you look at me, why are we out here?" He asks

"Yes okay stop distracting me, put on a shirt or something, gosh" I mumble getting up and walking over to the chair I had stuff on

"Nandini" he gasps a little

i smile walking closer and sitting down with the hazelnut chocolate cake in my hand. I place it on the floor for a second and light up the candle, his face lights up because of the light as well

"Make a wish mani" I whisper

"My wish is already in front of me" my heart swells up with happiness hearing him

"Close your eyes and make a wish" I whisper again

He looks right at me and I sing him happy birthday he blows the candles out. He grabs the knife and cuts the cake feeding me a bite, I feed him the same bite kissing his lips

"HAPPY BIRTHDAY MY LOVE" I whisper against his lips

"thank you so much nandini, I love you so much"

"I love you more" I mumble pulling back

placing the cake aside I smile at him

"Do you wanna swim around for a bit and then want your presents or before?" I ask

"You got me presents?"

"I did"

"Mhm later" he says
