"Nandini are you still there?"

"Yes"

"Okay I just sent them over to manik's phone" he said

"okay hold on" I grab manik's phone and look at the email

it was a lengthy paper but I scrolled all the way down to his signatures. None of them had variations, it was almost like they had been done down in less than 10 minutes.

Here is the thing, every-time I sign something there is a variation in the edges, the lines, sometimes the ink of the pen being dragged over the page and these signature were all the same, exactly the same to the point where someone was trying to copy all the curvature of the sign

"Do you have a scantron arsh" I ask

"We do but for what?"

"Like do these paper go in a system to insure the signatures are correct and manik's"

"Yes but thats after the papers are in the system"

"And what if the signs are wonky or give a false result"

'That can just cause delays for two reasons, one the signatures are fake which takes a few hours to match all the other signatures on the paper but since it's manik's it should be Farley quick. The second thing that could happen is, the papers aren't transferred properly and are needed again to start the whole process again" he explains

"Okay mhm why don't you go ahead and process those papers" I say

"Nandini that is a very dangerous thing to do right now" he says

"We don't have a choice"

"If I process them manik cannot sign on anything, his half of this company can't be accessed by anyone but cabir because they are co-owners" he says

"Ya go ahead, process them and if the signatures clear up which I don't' think they will but if they do I need you to call nyonika and ask her to send the papers again"

"I can do that, mhm I will start processing them in 2 hours since thats the time period we get when we are busy and the processing and everything will take about 3 hour but I'll make sure it takes around 6 but that's all I can do from my end"

"Perfect, we will be there earlier we are taking our private jet" cabir says

"Perfect, see you guys soon"

"You too" I mumble cutting the call

The ride back to the hotel was silent, we packed up everything in minutes, thats how stressed out everyone was. We were on the private jet so quick that I didn't even get time to clean up manik's knuckles so when the seatbelt sign went away navya and cabir went to their room in the jet while I grabbed a warm wash cloth

"Hey, come here please" I say to manik

He looks up at me but his eyes were still blank

"Come here handsome" I whisper

He gets up walking to me, I grab his knuckles placing the warm cloth on them, he doesn't flinch or pull back, he just stands there looking at me

"Look how red they are" I whisper caressing over them

"Should've seen his face" he mumbles

"Hey, enough. You shouldn't done that manik"

"Oh you should be happy I didn't kill him for that smug look on his face, acting like he owns the place and that bitchy mother of mine, fuck, let me get back and I swear to god I am about to fuck up all their lives" he says

"A little too much swearing for my liking boyfriend"

"Im sorry love" he whispers kissing my head

"You know this anger of yours, it gets you in trouble mani, just calm down and relax"

"I can't nandini"

"Manii, it's your company, the company you made from scratch you can't just be angry and made sudden movements that can cause them to play their moves" I whisper putting ointment on his knuckles to sooth the pain

"I love my company nandini but it's nothing compared to you. If they had done this just for my company I would give it to them right away, they can't run anything and my company isn't just me. Cabir co-owns it, he can put in a request to want to own it all and not just that, the people that work int he company don't' just work for money, we are all a big family so the second cabir and I leave, they are all gone nandini. Take arsh as an example, it's 3 in the morning in India but he called right away, he didn't need to even look at those papers or inform us until office times but he did. We haven't just build a company, we have earned a family so if nyonika wants to snatch our company she is going to have to try really fucking hard" he mumbles

i smile seeing that sane manik coming out

"See, when we are calm we think but rage only destroys things" I whisper as we sit back down

"I would destroy myself for you in a second nandini and I would burn this world for you so you could walk on the ashes of those who hurt you. I don't care if I get burned in the process, it's you above anyone else for me nandini, you have your ayiappa and I have you so no I do not care how angry I had gotten back there because I would do it again making sure he is taking his last breath right now" he says

My heart was complete hearing him, his love for me is something I have never seen in anyone, not even my parents before they passed away. His love for me is eternal just like mine for him

"I love you mani" I whisper caressing his chest

"I love you more" he whispers back laying his head on my shoulder

The whole plane ride, I tried to get manik to close his eyes but he wouldn't, he wouldn't even stop thinking, his head was full of things.
