"Thank you' he whispers
"For what?" I asked
"For bringing me here, it was peaceful but I will say nothing gives me peace like you do" I giggle kissing his hand
It's such a compliment to hear and I am so glad I could bring him here
"home?" He asks
"Yes, I will make us some lunch" I said
"No, I kinda wanna cook together" he mumbles
i hum leaning a little to look at him, there is something about him in a Kurta, he looks smashing, perfect, handsome, amazing, perfect hehe.
"Baby if you keep on eyeing me like fresh meat, neither one of us will get any food" he tells me
He is always so naughty and honestly it has never made me uncomfortable instead I get giddy inside wanting to see how things would be
"Don't" he says when I grab his phone since it had been ringing
"Whats wrong?" I ask
"It's my witch ass mother"
"Manik manners handsome, we don't use such words for our parents"
"She isn't a mother, the women is a god damn bit"
"Manik" I interrupt him
"Fine" he groans
I grab his phone answering the call
"Hello" she says
I nudge Manik to answer
"Yes what is it that you need?" He says grumpily like a little kid
"Just wanted to remind you, our deal. I still haven't gotten a cheque or money in my account yet"
"Oh really?" Oh this is not good
Every time Manik seems like he is interested in a conversation with his mother, it usually turns out bad
"Yes really, so I suggest you talk to your people and have it done asap"
"Nyonika if you want money, get up from that ugly ass couch and move it to earn some" he yells cutting the call
"Manik"
"Don't, she is so fucking annoying and I don't wanna ruin my mood"
"Relax" I whisper caressing his arm
"I swear I am going to die young because of this lady"
"No you won't, stop it"
"Stop it" he mocks
"Hey" I give him a look making me sigh
"It's just annoying, I hate it"
"And I completely understand but Manik just because she is being atrocious, you can't follow her steps. You need to maintain that respect and let the rest pan out" I whisper caressing the back of his neck which calms him down instantly
He doesn't say anything but leans his head into my touch on he drives us home, when we got home he seemed really annoyed and insanely went to change so I changed into my blue dress again as well keeping our clothes in his closet
"Mani" I whisper walking out of the closet
"Yeah?" He says, instantly he puts his phone down and all his attention was mine
It's one of my favourite things about Manik, he always makes sure I am priority and I have his attention which is so sweet of him to do so.
"It's your birthday handsome, why so gloomy?" I ask sitting in his arms
