His hand grips my arm and I immediately felt like I was draining blood, I felt pale
"Nandini are you okay?" I heard a voice
"Manik let her arm go, nandu are you okay?" Navya, it's navya's voice
"Navu" I whisper
Her warm arms wrap around me making me close my eyes
"Manik what happened?" I hear cabir asking him
"How would I know dude, she just went pale" he mumbles
"Did you touch her?" He asks
"I just grabbed her arm, she is annoying man"
"Nandini breath"
I heard it but I couldn't process anything
"She isn't her and she won't be so don't behave like a jerk to her"
"Then tell her not to be up in my business all the time"
I wrap my arms around navya breathing a little as she caresses my back, it took time before I could finally feel okay
"It is okay, he isn't going to hurt you" I hear cabir
i nod trusting his words leaning onto his shoulder as they help me sit on the couch
it took a couple minutes or so before I opened my eyes and looked at the two of them to see them worried
"Candy" I ask causing them both to burst out laughing
"You are so stupid nandini" navya mumbles
"Hey, im hungry okay. Feed me"
they both shake their heads at me before navya grabbed me a bag of the limited edition pink skittles bag.
"Thank you, now you may pay attention to other humans" I say as I see people coming in
"you sure you okay?" She asks
"Fantastic, im taking your I pad" I mumble
Cabir hands it to me before they both kiss my head walking to attend other guests
I sit on the couch switching watching instagram videos and stuff while snacking on my skittles.
The couch dips a little and I look over to find this guy sitting beside me and no not far but close enough so our elbows could touch like hello do I look interested
"Hey girl" he says
"Okay no" I reply
The couch tips again on the other side of me because I was sitting right in the middle like a weirdo. I look tom left and see manik so I put my i pad on my lap and turn my head to him
"Look im sorry for getting in your business, won't happen again" I mumble
He just nods, no words, no affirmation, nothing just a simple nod
"So we are okay right? Like you"
'Just stop talking" he says
"Very well" I mumble passing him a single skittle but he shakes his head
"Ill take one babe" the other dude says
"Didn't I say no or should I punch you to assert my answer and get it registered in that disgusting head of yours" I answer
"Woah, just being friendly" he says
"No thanks" I say leaning closer to manik
you know sponge bob is very fun to watch and whne they make burgers it's super fun, I love it.
"What are you two?" The guy to my right says
"Dude she said no, move the fuck away" manik grunts and I lean closer to him
"Go inside, in the room" manik says
i shook my had at him
"Now" he warns
Froowning I grab skittles and the I pad walking to the spare room aka my room whenever I come over, I had it requested haha
Laying on my stomach I put the volume up watching Lucifer, yes I am a child. I love maze she is so fun and even trixie.
A little while alter the door opens and I look back to see manik walking in the room kicking the door shut with his leg
"Not a single word" he says before I could utter anything out
I put my hand up kinda surrendering which isn't like me at all but his I am not about to challenge him, not when I have already apologized to him and called it truce
He sits back placing pillows behind his back, his eyes closed as he sighs a little.
"You okay?" I ask him
"Didn't I say not a single word?" He asks opening his eyes
"You did but"
"Shh quiet" he mumbles
"Has anyone told you how arrogant and bossy you actually are?" I ask him
"No one has the balls to"
"Why? Are you scary?"
"Okay enough nandini, I need you to be as quiet as you can be okay" he wasn't scolding me anymore, instead it was a request so I nodded
I leaned down and grabbed a cold water bottle from the mini fridge in the room and handed it to manik. He raises his eyebrows at me but I just smile getting back to Lucifer
He didn't say anything, he just laid down after a while closing her eyes beside me, it was peaceful to not be bickering with him, something we have been doing the past two days
"Manik" I whisper a while alter
"Do you have to speak?" He asks
"Yes"
"Fine what is it?" He asks looking at me
"Why are you always so angry?" I ask him
he glares at me
"Fine" I lay my head down on the bed watching the show
"Woahh the room isn't on fire" cabir walks in
"Why would it be?" I ask
"You two being in the same room" he teases
"Well you see him and I are silent friends now" I say
"What the fuck is that?" Manik asks
"We can be friends if I stay silent bu as soon as I open my mouth this idiot freaks as if something is up his ass"
"Now you know why I don't like her" he mumbles
"Dude whats there not to like? Im hot and sexy even pretty" I mumble
"Whoever said that you was clearly god damn blind or needed fucking lenses"
"You are so far up your ass dude, I mean come on"
"Nandini I told you to be quiet did I not?" He asks
"Manik when do I ever listen to you or anyone?"
"Enough, you both need to sort this shit out" navya says
"There is nothing to sort out, your best friend is rude" I say
"No it's actually the fact that you are so fucking oblivious to the fact that no one actually likes you, there is a difference between liking you and tolerating you. Dont' be so fucking naive and innocent because not many like you because you talk so fucking much" manik tells me
I usually never take anything to heart but the way he said it and the words he used was it.
i placed the skittles down along with the iPad
"Nandini baby dont'"
"Navya I am okay, don't worry. I will see you at work tommorow" I whsiepr
"No wait sweetie don't"
"Cabu relax, I am not upset" I mumble getting up
He grabbed grabbed my arm but I just gave him a quick hug and then I hugged navya before going home.
