Twins

Mornings are not complete without her. My twin...

Kasi walang gigising sa'kin kung hindi natunog ang alarm niya.

"Seriously, you're still lying on the bed when I already arrived from my morning jog?" I heard her sermon about my sluggishness.

"Anong oras na ba? At tsaka, high school pa lang tayo. We should enjoy our sleep more, you know. Mom said that we won't have enough sleep once we entered college" I replied before I opened my eyes. I saw her with her bathrobe and towel now.

"Yup, I knew that. But you're still unhealthy because you don't even exercise. Puro ka tulog" sabi naman niya at inirapan ko siya.

"I exercised! Those times na nasa training room tayo or gym para sa self-defense, kahit minsan lang yun sa isang buwan, exercise pa rin 'yun" sagot ko at bumangon na.

"You're inconsistent if you treated it us your exercise" she rolled her eyes and threw the pillow at me. "I am going to take a bath now, bumangon ka na dyan para hindi tayo ma-late"

I yawned and stretched my body, before I went inside the bathroom, while she is inside the shower room. I washed my face and my teeth before I go out and run to my parents.

"Good morning, my beautiful daughter" mommy greeted me as I kissed her cheeks.

"And good morning, my princess" it's dad this time.

"Good morning, my beautiful parents" I greeted them and dad laughed.

"May kailangan ka 'no? Nanlalambing ka e" sabi ni daddy habang nagbabasa siya ng newspaper. So, old fashion ang tatay ko.

"Wala po. And malambing naman na talaga ako kahit walang kailangan" depensa ko at sabay silang natawa habang tinatanguan ako.

"Well, in between you and your twin, you're the tamable one" mom stated the fact and I shrugged. "Anyway, why are you still in your sleepwear? You just woke up?"

"Yup" I pouted and put my chin on her right shoulder as I hugged her waist like a kid. Well, I still am. "You told me that I should enjoy sleeping, because we won't have a lot of sleep once we enter college. So, I am enjoying it now"

"It's okay, but you woke up a bit late. You have to eat your breakfast now or maybe, take a bath, we will wait you for breakfast" mom then pinched my cheeks lightly.

"Dalian mo at mabu-bwiset na naman ang kakambal mo sa'yo niyan" pananakot naman ni daddy.

"Dad, she's always like that. Hindi na siya nakakatakot for me" I replied and laughed before I went upstairs, I am sure she's done showering already.

And I am right, she's already wearing our school uniform in front of our vanity mirror.

"Wait for me for breakfast. I will be quick!" I shouted as I entered the bathroom.

"Hindi ka pa kumain!? Seriously, we're going to be late!" she shouted and I just chuckled before I started taking a shower.

Then hours passed that I just opened my eyes inside a girl's bathroom. The abandoned one in our school, I think.

"What in the world am I doing here?" I asked myself.

Inalala ko kung nasaan ako kanina. Nasa gym lang ako at hinihintay ang kakambal ko, tapos biglang may nagtakip ng ulo ko at napunta na ako dito. Kinaladkad pa yata ako dahil may gasgas ang binti ko.

Huminga ako ng malalim at tumingin sa paligid. Wala naman akong kasama.

"May multo ba dito? May kasama ba akong hindi ko nakikita?" tanong ko at nag-echo ang boses ko sa buong CR.
