Fried Chicken

I dropped the phone after I talked with Kuya and my twin.

She told me us that our parents lied to her about the marriage and it is not filed legally. They have a wedding, yes. But dad didn't let the marriage contract to be filed legally.

Actually that made me happy because that means she is free without any responsibility as a wife to someone she doesn't love and she can just disappear in his life if she wants to. She doesn't need to cut any ties because there is no tie binding the two of them to be together.

But it also made me sad. She already experienced and sacrificed a lot because of this fake marriage. This news won't even matter to all the pain that she felt.

Though, I really can't go home yet. I still have work and my boss told me that I will still have assignments here. He said that he will give me few more assignments since I can't really have a proper interview with this big shot grumpy doctor/businessman. I don't really need to film an interview, just a freaking one on one interview. But ayaw pa rin ng lalaking 'to.

So, no choice.

Akala ko nga makakauwi na ako kapag natapos ko ng gawin yung page for Leon, pero 'yun nga hindi pa ako makakauwi. Ayaw naman ng boss namin na magpadala ng iba sa New York kung naandito na ako at pwede naman ako ang mag-trabaho.

But before I will accept my new assignment, I will try my best to convince Leon for an interview. Just one last try and kung ayaw talaga, hindi ko na pipilitin.

Ilang araw ko na rin siyang hindi inaabala, baka akala non tumigil na ako. Kaya lang bukas ko na ulit susubukang kumbinsihin siya na magpa-interview sa'kin.

I still need to buy some groceries for this month. I also need to buy more sweather and coat as the cold is too much already, then I realized that holiday season is coming. I will make sure that I will go home before Christmas or New Year. I am not used to celebrate those events alone, so I need to go home.

After I did my grocery shopping, I proceed on editing the article page for Leon. I will send it next week, so I will really try my shot tomorrow.

Baka bukas pumayag na siya. Hindi ko nga lang alam kung may oras siya na makinig sa akin o hindi pa ako nagsasalita ay paalisin na niya ako.

Lumipas ang ilang minuto at inantok na ako, kaya agarana kong nagpatugtog ng kantang magpapagising sa'kin. Nagpunta rin ako sa kusina para kumuha ng snacks na kakabili ko lang kanina.

Tumalon-talon pa ako para mas magising at kumanta. Wala pa namang gabi, pero inaantok talaga ako kapag hapon at nasa bahay lang ako.

Natigil lang ako sa mga ginagawa kong magpapagising sa'kin ng tumunog ang doorbell at may kumatok din. Napatingin ako sa pinto at nagtaka kung sino ang nakatok. Baka kapit-bahay at naingayan sila sa mga pinag-gagagawa ko.

I pouted and walked towards the door. Sorry naman kung naingayan man sila sa'kin.

But I frowned when I saw that it's the grumpy man named Leon. "Leon?"

It's been almost a week since I saw him here in my house and ever since that day, I successfully stayed at my home just to rest my mind, renew my life and calm my emotions. And I don't really want to see him yet, because I am still on a rest day today and I don't want to ruin my mood.

But now, he's already here.

"Why are you here?" I asked and he frowned.

"I thought you left the country" he replied but he didn't answer my question. Or is that his reason?
