"Whoa... So big! This must be a Japanese cypress bath, huh? Well... I don't think they have actual Japanese cypress wood though..."

Japanese Cypress Onsen

I left my change of clothes in the dressing room and briskly took my clothes off so I could get into the bath faster. When I opened my door, I was greeted with the sight of a spacious Japanese style cypress bath. My guess might be off but the smell of the wood really reminded me of Japanese cypress.

"Ah... If I don't wash up soon, the three of them will come already."

I didn't have the time to dawdle around and admire the bath.

Flustered in panic, I sat on a nearby chair and took the soap provided by the inn. I lathered the small towel I had brought with me with plenty of soap and washed myself using it. No matter how many times I used [Clean], nothing beats the feeling of directly brushing yourself clean. After washing my body clean, I didn't bother paying much attention to washing my hair. I only roughly scrubbed my head with the rest of the soap then I quickly rinsed myself from the soap and went for a soak in the bath.

"Huh... I'm sure 5 minutes have already passed by but... They're not coming?"

I was sure more than 5 minutes had gone by while I was washing myself but I still didn't see any sign of the three of them. Maybe Chris-san was just messing with me when he said they'd wait for 5 minutes...?

"Uwah... I feel like I've wasted my energy by being embarrassed and all..."

"What did you waste?~"

"Huh?! Whoa! Fua-?!"

"Whoa! Ren-chan?!"

Without me realizing, Chris-san had already entered the bathroom. I was so surprised when he suddenly called out to me that I ended up slipping and dipped my own face into the water. I hadn't noticed them coming in because I had my back toward the door...

"Are you alright?"

"Y-Yes. I was just a little surprised."

"Ah... It's too deep for Ren, huh...."

"Yes..."

This bathtub was made according to the standard of people in Alsar so the water was deep enough to reach my shoulder. That was why, if I lowered my head even just a little bit, my face would get wet.

"Umm... Are you guys going to wash up and soak too? It's just... I'm a little... I don't know where to look..."

"Huh? Ah, yeah. I'm going to wash up."

When I turned my head toward the entrance, I saw the three of them looking at me with concern but more importantly...Why didn't they cover themselves with a towel?!

Their... Their son was dangling exaclty on my eye-level! I could feel my cheeks heating up but not because of the hot water...

When I asked them, Sig-san answered my question and the three of them then sat down on the chair to wash their bodies.

"By the way, Ren-chan. Have you take a look outside?~"

Chris-san asked while he scrubbed his long arm clean.

"Huh? Outside?"

"Yup. You see that door over there?~ You can go outside through it~ There's also another bathtub over there~"

"An open-air bath?!"

Sure enough, there was a door on the corner of the wall. I wasn't paying much attention when I washed but who would've expected our room to come with a private open-air bath as well?!
